So what? So what? You say? The reason you can say so what, and be patient is cause you are apart of the FGC, or just a fighting game fan in general. Do you see how much patience the people on this forum have? Any NORMAL casual fighting game player, or person thinking about getting into the genre DOES NOT have our type of patience, they’d just say " dodged a bullet with this one, and get into another genre. " So you gotta understand that launch plays a huge role in games success, regardless if they’re "adding stuff later " or " the game will pay for itself and MORE down the line. "
I’m talking about the guy who goes at Gamestop and sees that the new street fighter is out. If he buys the game and then knows/understands that more content is coming for free, I don’t see why he should be so upset.

Just tried survival hard with Ryu. Thought it’d be easier with him. Lost at stage 11. If this upcoming patch doesn’t give us another way to unlock colors I will murder Capcom. Also no one will platinum this game.
I agree with whoever said they went too soft on v-reversals. It’s a little dumb that jab/short tick throws beat v-reversals universally (? please correct me if wrong), especially when you consider that meaty jabs/shorts are also some of the best frame trap tools for quite a few characters.
I know people don’t like pervasive, powerful defensive options but v-reversals are expensive in terms of opportunity cost and aren’t always available. I feel like they should do their jobs better than they currently do. Defense is street fighter, and that doesn’t always just mean holding back.
The way I made 2 comebacks at a weekly off of Ryu’s v Trigger. Dude hits like a truck, also lost due to dropped combo and I wasn’t Salty. Is this real life? I don’t find myself too hyped for this, tried Karin and thought fuck it.
waited 40mn in training for a ranked match yesterday, not a single one popped, just gave up at the end and then tried survival just for the game to disconnect me at 49 stage , what an amazing game

Also is it normal for a Rashid to reversal DP alot? I played some nutty Rashid yesterday for about an hour. Itwas funny but damn I was super cautious lol.
