Ugh this game it was working fine yesterday now it just refuses to start I already renamed the movie, moved it to the desktop but nothing seems to work. As I boot the game up, I get the small screen with Ryu and then just a black window. When I run the task bar it shows the game as not responding.
Btw fuck rashid. I already hated his design with all my guts, and he is this game’s fuerte. What an annoying ass character. Twirly beard, dumb looking normals, dumb looking specials, dumb looking CA, obnoxious YAHOO yelling. Can’t stand the character at all.
Yeah, I don’t like Rashid, and his reveal trailer was such a snooze fest, but after hearing his theme abit more, and realizing just how bad ass it is, I ended up semi liking him for that reason alone.

Eh, if i was 8 characters only, I don’t think i’d be playing it until much later on, I only like half the cast as it is, so if the cast was 8, i’d like what? 4?

I think things would have been better looked upon if they made battlelounge/endless battle the main online option on release. Just get that shit down from the start. People learn matches, try things , play friends. Disconnects, server issues? No problems, it’s all data for the patch.
Then once you know you’re sweet, in 3 weeks to a month ( or with the march update) release the Ranked and CFN. Make a big deal of it, a big marketing push like - Rise up - everybody sweating on that day to test their skills and zero salt or rage quits. Probably a bunch more sales and a better feeling all round. Maybe even a re-review.
As it is now you ain’t getting anymore sales and you’ve pissed people off rotten because like it or not , dudes like points for some reason.
Releasing it with only 8 characters would have been much worse. The only fighters to compare with in recent years that released with only 8 characters is Skullgirls and KI, and the small roster was always something players brought up they didn’t like. Nowadays, I think the minimum starting roster should be 12.
As for the stuff coming in March, has Capcom said when the other modes will be unlocked? Also, has anyone compiled a list of options or other fixes to submit to them for consideration?

Ono apologizes…whoopee…doesn’t fix anything. I haven’t had one decent online match since buying this game casual or ranked…both have been horrific. Rank is worse because of rage quitters. And before anyone says anything yes hardwired, cable internet, low ping, blazing fast…etc. I wouldn’t be so mad if I didn’t love the gameplay of SF5 so much. But it’s no fun if it’s a lag fest shit show. Like I wanted this game to do so well and it’s depressing seeing it start off like this. I’m having a worse vibe then when SF3 first came out by a large margin. I ordered SF5, the season pass (not because I can’t earn it, just trying to support the game), a HRAP 4 Kai, a USB headset so I can talk to my lounge while using the stick (lol assuming you can even do a lounge effectively) and even upgraded my stick with new parts from focus attack (still waiting for those to come in). All in all almost a $500 investment. Yeah, no one twisted my arm to do all that, I know Capcom does some really dumb shit but I was hoping with Sony in their corner they would at least be somewhat competent. Nope. Just I love Street Fighter and I’m beyond disappointed. I don’t mind it coming out half assed, and servers being shit at the start, but come on…it’s been over a week and I can’t even get one fucking online match without issues.

He does have a point to some degree. I understand your point of only 8 characters, but I also understand his point of having 16 and not being able to do anything with the game. Bottom line is 8 characters with working online or 16 with no playable content cause your servers are ass is unacceptable. If Capcom was going to piece meal this game then they should have followed KI’s model…and their online is fucking amazing. I think KI looks better than SF5 by a long shot especially the backgrounds. However, I do love how SF5 looks in comparison to SF4. Just overall, I feel Capcom rushed the hell out of this game. Look at Tekken and how much time they are waiting till console release.
