Don’t worry, @gilley got you covered. He said he was doing frame data, should be ready next few days, he is doing all the heavy lifting. I’ll go through difs on dantarion site to see what has changed and I’ll use dantarion’s already parsed info to add in the active frames to gilley’s work if he doesn’t do it himself.
Have people figured out how exactly unlocking with survival mode work?
I beat it offline on normal and unlocked Cammy’s pink, yellow and purple ugly ass costumes. I have no clue if it’s based on score or difficulty level.
Servers seem fine now… Like someone forgot to turn them on at midnight. I swear I couldn’t even get a match/ go 5 minutes without being disconnected before.
Only have the 7gb preload installed on Steam. I guess the update won’t come until later today.
The survival mode shit is retarded. Fuck you filthy casuals who wanted this boring ass grinding bullshit. I rather just get FM from online matches and buy them in the shop.
Except we already know that he figured that out exactly 8 months ago, and he starts off using MP against Lupe in that very same round. He’s just legit good at sandbagging, his sandbagging is professional tier, the kind of sandbagging Capcom know they can count on. I watched this expecting Daigo to take it to the last round and that it was possible he could fuck up a couple of exchanges at the end, but nah he knew exactly what he was doing the whole way, and I’m sure Viscant knew too. He’s not thick enough to fall for that, he’s just being cute.
Basically, they told Daigo to sandbag/lose so people can see, “Oh hey, Ono was serious when he wanted to restart the playing field. Look at what a newcomer like Lupe did against a pro, I can do that too!”
Not what we wanted to see but it’s perfect Kotaku fodder so a really good decision on Capcom’s part, this will get some mainstream headlines. I’d be a bit salty if I were Lupe though. I wonder if he got to play some real sets afterwards? Or perhaps beforehand, in the rehearsal.
Plus Daigo is such a stoic, honest person that people would have a chance at even believing he might not be sandbagging. That he’s really meeting someone who has learned very fast. If it was a US player like J.Wong everyone would be like “oh wow this guy is throwing it for sure, US COLLUSION”. Daigo though, you have to question if something is wrong. If Lupe really is throwing the beast off. Japanese don’t know how to sandbag or troll. They just play every match with their heart surely.
What would you have wanted to see? It’s what I wanted to see since I know the alternative would be Lupe not being able to move LOL. FGC gotta go full on eSports and have the halftime free throw shot contests and stuff. Can’t be salty about the greatest in any sport sandbagging on you because they know you have zero professional experience in it. You just play one on one and go with it and have a good time.
Probably played some “real” sets before, but yeah.
