Anyone had a look at “Other Settings” in the Options menu? There’s a setting called “Pause Menu Display”, and Type B sets it so you have to hold down the Start button to bring up the menu. That’s pretty neat. You can also set it so that Replays won’t show who won or lost before you view them.
Incidentally, is there a way to turn off V-Sync in Windowed mode? I’m pretty sure it’s forced to run V-Sync, even if you turn it off in the Nvidia control panel. Fullscreen works fine.
I’m in training mode with Charlie, feels so good having undisturbed training without fight request constantly being on, damn.
OMG, i’m playing SFV, and have tons of valentines chocolate, get freaking rekt, i’m set for tonight.
SFV’s release was so intense that my mouse literally broke at 9PM, no really, it did. I SWEAR, at that exact minute, what are the odds… But thank god I can use keyboard tab, and use my fight stick for actually playing, no Dota for awhile I guess.
You know it’s garbage when you play survival on hard (or hell, that’s worse) and get disconnected when you’re close at the end.
Why does it have to be online to play survival to unlock fight money (idk about colors) when clearing it? They could of at least saved a point during a serious disconnect from their servers (imagining there is a specific code that can give you the “okay” for a retry on that level)… WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?
Been absent from this website for a long time. I was trash at SFIV. SFV is the thee one. I’m gonna take it so seriously, try to compete, get an arcade stick, everything. SO HYPE for this game!
thank goodness for turbo button, mash X on log in. made my account, but match making isn’t even pairing me up with anyone (5 bar only, 4-5 bar only), oh well
Sigh, this game runs for me (on PC) like it’s underwater. Menus, character select screen, everything. My PC is easily strong enough to handle the game, and more importantly, I had no problem at all with the betas.
Something is messed up. I tried lowering the game to the lowest settings, and it didn’t help at all. I updated the Nvidia driver before starting up the game, maybe I’ll try rolling that back…
I just realized I was running windowed when I tried to run the game with low settings and full screen when I did it with max settings. Yeah, running max and low effects with full screen I get no tearing. So it seems you cannot disable vsync in-game. Windowed no vsync.
