I do want to get some of them to be honest. I just don’t know anything about Garou or Last Blade. Really the only SNK games I played growing up were Samsho 1 (or 2?), and CVS2.
I don’t think I’ve even played a KOF game.
Eventhubs should write an article to keep him honest.

KOF gameplay is like a combination of Street fighter and anime, but it’s cooler because it doesn’t look like anime, it looks like street fighter.

Yeah, it looks like a good series but I don’t think I ever had one. I thought I may have had one on PS1 but after looking at clips, I think I had it mixed up with something else
It feels weird to me tbh. 97 is pretty simple though.
Garou, LB2 and SamSho V are great on a casual level and feel very intuitive to play. LB 2 has some fucking bonkers infinites. 1 button shit. But as long as people arent doint that its fun.

For some bizaare reason KoF 97 has great online but no training mode… KoF 98UM has training mode (its shit though) but no online.
All the other Code Mystics games have all the features you would expect.

I played GG online for a couple hours with a friend and it’s fun but Jesus the online was suspect. Was like trying to play underwater.

Speaking of that, i was playing with a friend on Brooklin.
surprisingly, our matches were really good but, when the lag spikes hit, it became unplayable, hitting 16f to 19f at times.
He was telling me that he has been playing on the local scene of marlinepie and other up there, and it shows, his Faust has become way better than when he was living here.
According to him, the online problems were on his end, and well, considering that he got disconnected after a while after every lag spike and on the last one he didnt come back, is hard to argue with that

Considering how unwilling to make FGs capcom is unless other company pays for it, is very easy to see them just dropping MvC.
MVC3 and UMVC3 didnt sell as what they expected, in part because they released umvc3 8 months after the release of mvc3.
And the next one was a low effort game that flopped hardly for them.
Even if Capcom were willing to foot the bill, which they arent, you have Disney behind the brand now.
They dont want their brands associated with negative press, and after MvCI is very likely that they will be way more ahprensive about letting capcom handle the Marvel brand again.
As it is now, capcom is better doing an all stars game, they dont have to deal with the crap of another company and are free to market and monetize as they see fit.

Yeah I’ll go study his Ling more. His combos are really optimal and his poking is incredible.
I’m going to try and apply what I learnt from watching yesterday.
