So smash is out and MK11 takes its rightful place at the top.
Praise Lord Boon.

Can’t run SF5 or GranBlue.
I’ll be honest, my consoles are basically machines that play fighting games. I kinda don’t care about 99% of the games being released.
Skills, is the mk11 netcode good?
Buy mine, at least it runs SFV.
I’m serious, the dollar is rising so quickly here that I’d make a killing just letting the money chill in my wallet.
They will be doing a showcase for the newest Goku on Sunday.

Turn your console into a working PC, a PS4 Pro should get you the same horsepower as a 100€ PC.
Shut up dude, I’m tryna do business here!
Hell yeah. Not quite KI or MKX, but it’s better than basically every other fighter not sporting ggpo.
Somebody is reading the aftermath of the SamSho clusterfuck and hitting likes all over the place. Then I go back to see what’s being liked and get mad all over again.
I try to have a more positive look.
I’m checking these likes and seeing Iroha’s ass again.
I’ve been playing skull girls lately. Valentine’s mix ups are cool. I might check that pony game out next.
Its the same engine as skullgirls so a lot of it should feel familiar.
Kinda sad hasbro tossed it into a volcano. Twilight Sparkle looked like she had some good zoning.
I mean thats a damn fine ass, looks even better in Motion.
Had a bit of a revelation yesterday…
I kept thinking about getting a stick, or playing MK11, MVC2, and other things because I was subconsciously trying to add something to take my focus away from the next step in grinding ST and 3S - the step where I know enough combos and tactics to get by but can’t do them well and get more losses than I feel I should.
This is the hardest part for me in any fighting game and is the same step I avoided in SFV by swapping characters (or games).
I’m never going to be good at a fighting game if I don’t walk down this path, so ST and 3S on Hitbox it is.
I’ll suck for the next few months, but I’ve sucked for the last 3 years so I don’t have much to worry about.
I know it won’t make a difference but hopefully the present situation with EVO embarrasses Japan into getting some real netcode. When quote/unquote dead games have to be summoned to fill out the roster because the netcode for major titles is a joke, it makes them look pitiful as developers. Hell KI, SG, and Them Fighting Herds are fucking budget titles. Capcom and Namco, get your shit together!
Eh…I wouldn’t characterized that as what happened. Evo is running every current game sans Smash. Since its going to be online already, they’re also adding additional games who have good netcodes. They can do this because procuring equipment isn’t a logistics issue they have to contend with.
Since they have the opportunity to run more games, they are bringing back games they know have a good netcode and letting them get some shine.
Look, I know its fashionable to have views and feel some type of way about a bunch of things, but there isn’t some perverse or ill meant motive behind everything going on. I’m sure highlighting GGPO and the advances in netcode it lead to was a big factor, but not every game with GGPO is in there at random.
They get to run more games but I really doubt that they are out to snub anybody.
Even DBFZ and GBVS. Hopefully ASW realizes they have to put work into Strive to give it a great rollback netcode, because SFV’s take ain’t good enough.
The original lineup doesn’t seem to have open tournaments though, they seem to be restricted to “special exhibitions”, whatever that means.
And Skullgirls, KI and Them Yiffing Herds all have scenes based mainly in the US.
GGPO is great but it isn’t run a grand finals between Timbuktu and Tasmania Island great.
Edit: Not gonna lie, I ran sets with a japanese Honda in ST back in 08 and it was great. So maybe it is.
I played SG with Zio and the only problem I noticed was some minor audio desync.
You can guess how well SFV went.
