Iroha’s entire design and purpose is fourth-wall breaking fan service. The master that she is devoted to pleasing is the player. This is not only conveyed in her Samurai Shodown 6 victory poses and ending (where she looks to the screen when addressing her master), it has been directly confirmed in interview.
Personally, I think she is one of the worst designs from a visual and thematic perspective. The primary focus is the fourth-wall breaking fan service aspect. She wasn’t made to fit the world.
I’m particularly intrigued by how poorly her visuals and animation sell the idea that she is a crane masquerading as a human. The only in-game confirmation is a single still silhouette that is onscreen for a few frames during a super that a player might not even use. There are a number of clues, but all of them are after-the-fact realizations that you only notice once you are looking for them. Some are even arguably hidden by the more prevalent fan-service aspect of her design. Her idle animation is a crane stance, but due to her fan-service nature it first seems purely an excuse to put focus on her legs. Her black and white color scheme initially seems purely an artifact of her fan-service maid outfit. Her shoulder adornments and tassels represent feathers, but again they first just seem to be adornments for her fan-service outfit. Her leg bandage just looks like a random adornment that again draws focus to her fan-service legs, rather than a tell for the fable she represents. Even people who are already looking for bird clues can miss that her weapons, both in their shape and in her use of a reverse grip, mimic the ends of wings.

Is there any way to set which games get notifications on Steam? I have notifications disabled while in game because I find it distracting during fighting games but I don’t really care if I’m chilling playing a single player game.
But that’s also why you have to end up doing ridiculous stuff for other characters. you make one bad decision, test it out, doesn’t work but you’ve commited to it. Now you have to reinvent the wheel just to make it passable.

She and her friend tried to get him banned, but the one banned instead was her.
She jumped out of the gun and basically assaulted him for popping up during a match.
At some point she tried to claim some shit like he attacked her or something, but everything was recorded on video.
Also, there was already history of her doing that kind of stuff, making things physical and escalating things unnecesarily.
