In all seriousness, this is the most interesting tier list so far. All the others seemed to be roughly the same list.
- Poison top tier and #3 in the game. Never seen her placed that high.
- Dhalsim in A tier above a ton of good characters.
- If they’re ordered within tiers then he has Vega above Karin and Rashid not even in top 10.
Would love to hear Sako’s reasoning for some of these picks because he’s made some bold choices.

Honestly, she’s not even that good. She’s fine (everyone in T7 is), but probably like mid to lower mid.
She’s really good at shutting down a lot of common online flowcharts though, and she has some stupid flowcharts of her own that beat a lot of common habits. Plus she’s quite safe and really, really difficult to sidestep and punish if she’s in your face, and she’s really, really good at annoying people into doing stupid shit.
If I wanted to Tokido people I’d play Fahk right now. Christ that character is silly.

I’m looking forward to this but will wait until it goes on sale.
I played PS2 for months and pretty much played it until I was fed up with it. I got PS3 like the day it came out though and a lot of stuff was the same and I played it for maybe two weeks and that was it. Didn’t even bother with the 4th.

Not at all. Why would your nose being broken by a headbutt be worse than 5 rounds of getting punched in the head by gloved hands? More blood maybe but not for concussive damage.
These things were taken out because they wanted to be on ESPN etc. They couldnt care less about the fighters. This is prize fighting. The fighters know the risks.
Gloves are for protecting people’s hands, not heads. Boxing/mma is way safer bare knuckle. After you’re hands are broken you have to switch to open palm or get your grapple on.
The referee can also stand up fights now for ‘inactivity’. Leading to even more strikes to the head etc.

Mixboxes should be allowed as long as it has a Brook’s PCB, but that’s even less appealing to me. I think if you want buttons for movement (and I’m lumping controller d-pads into this bucket) then a Hitbox is, IMO, the way to go.
I’m just starting to realize that I’d probably want a joystick for movement instead… well for SF games anyway. If I ever play T7, and maybe DBFZ again I’d probably prefer Hitbox. I’d also prefer a Hitbox for MVCI and MK11 which I’m more likely to play.

That, and people are less likely to punch you in the head without gloves too. Apparently skulls are pretty hard and fingers tend to break when they hit hard things.

To be fair, she’s not wrong about big boobs being impractical for martial arts. My ex was a blackbelt and constantly complained about how her fairly large tits got in the way when she was competing.
