Unrelated to everything, but as much as I love my Hitbox, I kinda wish it was a stick.
I can’t afford a stick right now, but realized I probably could trade with someone… Seems like a pretty big move though.
When I had a stick, I loved how it felt and it felt like it had a cool technique to master. I struggled with it though (was a console player growing up) and thought I’d be better with a Hitbox, so I sold the stick and invested in a Hitbox. To be honest, it doesn’t feel as fun to use and I don’t feel as connected with my character’s movement (especially walking) as I did on stick.
Plus, I went to an ST local a while ago and it was pretty much mandatory to use stick. I don’t know if the local will re-open, but I really feel like I’d like to go for ST and 3S if it does, but would need to feel comfortable on a stick to go back and that ain’t happening with only a Hitbox.
Edit: then again, I do prefer the Hitbox for some games… I should probably keep it and see about getting a stick if things start opening back up.

I already knew that was going to happen. But its the hypocrisy of some of these stances. First its the situation with the fanservice. I’m in the very, very small minority who has been hating on fanservice for a while. But a lot of the people clutching their pearls aren’t. They’re mad at some gag tweets on a game thats rated M.
Then the way people are defending and attacking others over this situation is similarly weird. People spent a lot of time and energy defending stream monsters and people who don’t show up to shit as being part of the FGC. Now they’re attacking people over it it because those dont’ show up. BUT YOU SAID THESE PEOPLE WERE PART OF THE FGC. JAMES CHEN SAID THAT IF YOU EVER PLAYED A GAME, YOU WERE PART OF THE FGC and people in these sets of threads defended that idea. Considering how much stuff has been claimed to make you a member of the FGC, that means most of the clowncar crying on both sides of it are valid members due to that definition.
So I don’t know wtf. I’ve been I was wrong about a lot of stuff and suddenly all I was wrong about is blowing up all over people’s faces.
Yeah its the same thing bro. Gotta keep the facade up. Most of the head instructors i know are still fucking degenerates but they’ve all sacked staff members for doing way less than themselves in terms of personal conduct. Fuck the amount of juicing that goes on in the sport is unreal. But then when new students come in they give it the ‘technique always trumps strength’ bullshit.
All I know is this. Once your livelihood is connected to your hobby your moral compass will be tested sooner rather than later. Most people will go with the option that has the least chance of losing them money. Not the choice they would have made in a vacuum.

Ugh, I’ve been playing Katarina in Tekken the last few days. This character is hella dumb online, but for reasons unrelated to the things people actually complain about when it comes to her.
I probably have like 40 hours put into her and she’s higher ranked than my Leo, which has like 10 times the playtime. Ugh.
Keep cooking, boy. You rock the Brazilian broad whose thong is hanging out but nobody complains about because they aren’t that aware for her.

I’ve popped into streams from EU players I’ve played against to say GG after the games a few times, every single time I’m met by “oh lol Kat here comes the 444 lol skill character”. And I usually win, mainly by using other moves that are way more stupid (even though 444 is infamous for a reason). I’ll probably make Emperor without much issue as this rate, might possibly shoot for TGP if I’m really feeling it.
Yoshi players deserve any shit thrown their way. 
That guy’s also from Norway. Really scary and plays like a madman, and has some solid results under his belt at local tournaments, but I tend to have his number.
The weird part was that I did even better against him with Kat than I tend to do with Leo.
