And don’t give me people posting tech there as an example, Twitter is the absolute worst place to store tech.

I agree with you about tech, as well as the largely shitty attitudes. But I still think there are some good things, like company updates (provided they aren’t lewd lol) and tournament/local updates.
There is an MVCI discord, ran by a bot, that constantly checks for tech hashtags (#MVCI_Ryu) etc and links them on a Ryu folder, which I think is pretty neat, but that’s the only game I’ve seen do that.
You also can create Twitter moments, essentially a public page of manually selected tweets, but it is manual and there’s bound to be stuff missed. Plus I don’t think many people know of it.
Funny enough, the only person I saw doing it was for MVCI as well.
SonicFox is cool for the most part. But he got hella top player priviledge given to him. Furry fandom is basically one massive fetish but he got to wear his outfit on the Evo stage. Similarly his twitter constantly had NSFW stuff while he had Rick Fox backing him. I had issues with it, a lot of people didnt, nobody called him out because reasons.
People dont want to ask the real question: what amount of sex is the right amount of sex for the scene? Because wearing full blown fursuits that dudes are like…98% sure to fuck in at tournaments is kinda bullshitty to me. So it can go get tossed in the cosplay, fanservice and other wack things pile. But someone out there is trying ti be an arbiter of things; so things will get sliced differently.
As far as immature and not knowing much…that was a lot of people in the scene. SonicFox being more comfortable being who is becauee the scene is welcoming is one of the positives of this scene. Let that boy cook, growing up is hard. Today’s world is mad weird.

Unless you need for traveling, you are on the go a lot, or you move ofteb, no. Desktops are far cheaper and you have an easier upgrade and cheaper upgrade path.

I also hate the idea of opening laptops, where as when I had a tower, I was in there often cleaning it out and checking things. Opening a laptop has me nervous.
I legit played with someone who ragequited and blacklisted me for doing Oki on him.
I just used a big chunky button on his wakeup and he refused to ever block.
