The FGC is getting just what it wanted.
Top players wanted new sponsors and new blood and people in the scene… They got it
But!
With that comes, young immature sheltered kids that still don’t know if they want to be a woman, man or fox.
“Fly by night sponsors” trying to make a buck of players that can’t wait to get on.
“big company sponsors” now you have to play, dress, act by a new set of rules. Finding someones TRUE opinion on something is really hard. There are only a handful of streamers that really really keep it a buck. That use to be very common place among players good great or trash.
“FGC moving from srk to main stream media outlets” Twitter… twitter is the best and worst thing to happen to the fgc, eventhubs as well.
“Every one that plays is part of the fgc” LOL in the attempt to grow the scene this stupid statement was pushed and now you have a whole twitter verse of super casual, super sensitive, super emotional, people that have an opinion that causes a constant rift and rocking back and forward.
“Devs trying to attract new players” “easy mechanics” ruining the over all health of fighters that got them to this point. NO ONE STARTS PLAYING FIGHTING GAMES BECAUSE THE GAME IS EASY.
They start playing because SOMETHING is so cool to them that they want to do it.
