But WoTC is a trash company. The problem is that people love M:TG so hard that they can’t bring themselves to criticize them properly.

They had Liliana kill one of Garrku’s dogs and then curse him into a violent monster. When he finally catches up to her in Innistrad he was about to kill her.
That’s the artwork you see in Triumph of Ferocity. People were mad that Garruk was about to kill a person who was, by all story stuff up to that point, a massive shitter who killed his dog.
The same people that complained about this went on to talk about how great John Wick any sense of irony to it.

They literally do everything by doing massive customer research. Liliana was going to be allowed to be the biggest shitter possible and stick around because people love her. Even when it makes no sense, she can’t have real consequences.
Also women aren’t allowed to be real bad guys anymore. Their excuse for turning Garruk evil was that they needed a green “Bad guy”. Mind you they claimed this when they had already made Nissa who was literally Elf Hitler.
But we can’t have evil female elf hitler because of reasons because they needed wanted to advertise the game to women. So they made Elf Hitler a good guy, took a character that was awesome and made him evil because lols so they could put reformed Elf Hitler in the “main roster” to sell the game to women.
But then the people at WoTC creative decided we needed more gay representation in M:TG. Cool, gay characters don’t bother me and when they made a sexually ambiguous character for the sake of having one, they came out with this bad ass looking mofo:

But they made reformed Elf Hitler date the Fiery Redhead because to appease all those shitty shipper people who ruin things. Then after years of setting up this goofy lesbian storyline, Wizards of the Coast decided to kill the relationship and make the Fiery Redhead straight because they didn’t want problems with China.
Now WoTC could’ve held to their decision and said “Well these two are gonna scissor whether you want it to or not, you dirty commies” but because they’re a wack ass, dishonest, shit ass company, they retconned the thing by saying that the Fiery Redhead was attracted to people “Decided Male”.
so if the SF lore people have a hard time with stuff in SF games, they retconned the hell out of a ship by saying it was just a phase.
AY WoTC sucks.

Yeah, they’re famous for that Virtual Insanity video (as well as the dance scene in Napoleon Dynamite over “Canned Heat”) but I love all their stuff. Their rhythm section is ridiculous (if you like funk anyway).

Thank god most games just make me kill people.
Edit: I will say that TLOU did make me take a second after killing someone in that game. A lot of it has to do with that games physics and how people crumbled when they die.
Pittsburgh hit me hard when I sniped a dude and he folded like cheap suit. I was kinda shocked and trying to understand how this game made me feel bad for shooting this dude when another enemy popped out from around the corner and I shot him dead. I had to pause the game for a minute after that
