@TWINBLADES After watching KBrad’s stream for the last 20 minutes. I apologize for calling you KBrad fam. Like damn, all these people talking shit about Idom. Yet no one else does what he does. Dude plays online all the time, there is a metric ton of matches that people can pull data from, and he still freeing up dudes.
Anyone down to play some bbtag?
Pretty much every current gen stick works on XBone with the PC switch, I believe the only fuckers that still do console exclusive versions are the folks at Razer.
You don’t need a PC switch for Xbox sticks. Xbox controllers are auto detected by Windows. I use a 360/XB1 Stick for PC for that reason.
What I mean’t is that if I put the switch on PC on my obsidian or on my Fighting Edge, they both work plugged into an XBone. and basically every current gen stick has that now, Razer still does Panthera/Aatrox thing tho.

1. New Fightcade will be forced for everyone, and apps will be merged into a single service now. Look at it as Frontend to launch different emulators, including old FC1, new FC2, SNES9x, and… others
Beta FC2 emu will not be supported, new FC2 will supersede it.
No more Beta!

You will be able to filter for FC2, FC1 or any other supported systems from the search.
The old frontend will still work, but only to join FC1 channels. It’s been kept to help with the transition but we recommend transitioning to the new one.
I hate that, I’ve been binge watching SFIV VODs the last week or so and the movement necessary to avoid chip damage when you’re at 1 health creates natural hype. Such a mistake to remove that, GBVS hits a decentish middle ground but I think traditional chip should just exist in all SF games. Comebacks mean so much less cause of the ability to downback all options at 1.
Game would be better for it.
Less BS vtrigger come backs, honest ways to close out matches that didn’t favor the losing party going ham and then popping trigger.
Zoning and zoners buffed to actually have a way to kill from there preferred spot.
I missed this. Are you on PS4 and do you wanna play later?
SF4 is ridiculously rewatchable.
People thought I was just trying to shit on SF5 when I said that SF4 gave up a lot of great matches. It wasn’t random hate, you can scroll back through old tournaments and find random hidden gems.
What have you been rewatching? Old tournaments or new stuff?
Also the no chip kill is why you have a lot of stuff designed the way it is. Bison works the way he does because there’s no chip kill. Guile can v-trigger into a billion sonic booms because of no chip kill. It opened up design space for v-triggers up a lot.
It also upended the natural tension that comes with a fireball game. Although it might be why Daigo thinks Guile is top tier. He can set up a chip kill with super from halfway across the screen. Its hella cheap.
It also means spending all your resources so your opponent can have a “comeback” round on the next one. Toss it out in the garbage.
I still think V would’ve worked fine with EX moves chip killing as a middle ground.
Maybe.
All the complaints about how SF5 Sagat can’t play the game. First match of this top 8 has Fei Long just giving Sagat the business in the first round.
What time are you usually available?
Damn, I forgot how wild EX chicken wing was. Fly at people fullscreen over fireballs…and then get a combo out of it.
Anytime after 5PM EST really.
Sagat is only allowed to be good if it’s only his normals that are good.
When his FB game is great, people throw a bitchfit and thus you either get softbanned like O Sagat, or you get every SF4 revision where he was turned to mediocrity.
If I find some free time later, I’ll let you know
IIRC the softban thing was a stretch. Japan just doesn’t fuck with old characters for the most part.
Super Turbo.
A game where projectiles work and you can’t empty jump parry.
