Google says 19 mil subscribers, but as you said, that seems awfully high.
Either way, even if there were only 1 million paying subscribers, that would still equate to 13 million a month. How much do they need for server maintenance and DLC development?
Look: Nomura’s drugs are expensive. How do you think he can come up with the next plot twist for Kingdom Hearts while also figuring out space-time shenanigans in FF7 Remake?
Ffxiv team does pump out polished content pretty often. Only other mmo I’ve ever played was ffxi so I’m not sure how often other companys produce new content for mmo’s though.
It has an otg c.lk,c.mk,s.hpx3 but you only need to do the c.mk for it to be considered “completed”
But it will never cross out if you don’t dash up to make it happen, which if you space the combo correctly, it doesn’t need a dash to work.
I did the whole combo without the dash and the game was not having it.
More or less, the trials mode is wack and stupid and is missing a lot of shit imho
Real talk, I only look up trial modes for inspiration. Like, as long as I know that “this comboes into this” I’ll be looking for other stuff, optimization be damned.
It’s a post made by Volta, always take those with a grain of salt.
Last I checked FFXIV should have around 3M subs, there are no official numbers though.
That said, Square has this bad habit in modern gaming development of actually paying their employees and treat them fairly, apparently that’s expensive.
