I was watching Aris playing retro SNES games and he stumbled upon the weird one with Donald Duck as a protagonist except he’s not referred to as Donald Duck in that game for some absolutely indiscernible reason.
Anyway, it reminded me of when I used to play that game on PC as a kid and how damn catchy the song for the first level was.

I keep saying: I would if I could. The only connection is across the entire house, and there are no cables that I can get to go that whole distance. That’s why I’m switching to wired when I move out. For now, this is the most stable connection I have.

Juri fell victim to SFV’s initial goal of making characters functionally more unique, which was particularly strong in the earlier years. Capcom looked at her, saw that she had store moves, and decided to go all-in with that being her defining gimmick.
The store gimmick probably has Capcom overestimating how effective she is, looking only at her best case scenarios (full stores) rather than how a full match will flow (where she needs to repeatedly build stores). Consider also how Capcom insisted that Juri’s VT2 was good. It doesn’t feel like anyone with any say on the dev team has any desire to speak out for her, keeping her relegated to mid-tier at best.
I think Infiltration hurt Juri as well in those early years, as people (and likely Capcom devs) viewed his winning with her as evidence that Juri was already strong enough, rather than realizing it was much more Infiltration’s talent than Juri’s capability. (I don’t recall any other pro players doing anywhere near a well with Juri, while Infiltration would ultimately start depending on other characters to win.)
Unfortunately, I’ve a feeling that Juri’s fate/role is sealed, and that any future appearances will be based on her SFV ideas rather than her SF4 potentials.
I’ve said this before, while her character model was not changed at the time, Capcom officially increased Juri’s bust size in her status info with SSF4. Her SFV model is based on her SSF4 measurements.
So not only did Juri go under the knife with SSF4 (even though Capcom didn’t bother to change her model), she quite likely literally went under the knife in-story. (Particularly since Capcom removed “big boobs” from Juri’s listed interests at the same time that they added several centimeters to her listed bust size.)

Ok, so the nearest accessible ethernet port in my house is approx. 85ft or 26m away (depending on if you’re imperial or metric. They’re about the same).
