Maybe they will finally do some marketing outside of japan.

GG strive lies or dies on the NA/Euro market at this point, we got the numbers and the interest. Japan is the past.
That said I think they hired a PR firm for exactly that reason, they got in contact with a bunch of the DBFZ youtuber community. They don’t talk to anyone about DBFZ cause of chain of command shit (cause its technically bandai namco despite arcsys doing all the work, and namco talk to NOBODY) but I hope its a sign for a good future come strive.
I mean, after all the jobbing Chun did, would you let her lead the charge?

Well they’ve been very open the last few years, especially Team Red.

And DBFZ is basically a Job they do at Bamcos Order.
I’ve been saying since an eternity that Bamco calls the shots with DB and ASW just does as they get told.

One of the things I liked was making Ryu a non primary main character. Despite being the poster boy for the series Ryu is only interesting being a wanderer. He’s pretty much the most apolitical character in SF. That’s the reason why him robbing both Nash and Chun-Li of an ending never ceases to annoy me. It’s like JJ Abrams tier writing. Karin also being the leader of the fucking free world because LUL IM RICH was so fucking stupid. Karin should have just been the scapegoat for how poor hobos like Ryu could get from point A to B and that’s it.
