Playing SFV with random bums just isn’t as fun as playing 3S with the people here, so it doesn’t matter which game is deader overall.
Meanwhile, we got pretty much no players for SFV while we got like, at least 10 players for 3S here, so might as well play the game with better netcode.
Now that this tourney is off my back, anyone looking for games?

I do wish Capcom would/could do something about the scattered playerbase for 3s going by what I see on twitch channels it like more people are using fc or oe for 3s.
Yeah, because OE is the best port and FC is the most accessible.
Gotcha thought it was crazy people were predominately on that since I’m pretty sure it’s only on PS3. Dedication.
Maybe not so much dedication as a necessity to get better competition. 360/PS3 still has people like Ryan B playing, and others. There is a population of good players on OE. FC however…
Also I noticed you’re putting more time into 3S? Might I offer you a chance to be purified in our lobbies that we run pretty often on 30th on PC? There’s a Discord of about 10 people and we just get together and VC and play.

Computer I have is a Mac so fc is my only option. Other than it’s 30th on ps4. Thanks though, I know a couple people here got it on ps4.

30th was supposed to be that option.
It failed.
For some reason, the first impression was that it had bad netcode (it doesn’t). Then you have to consider that it doesn’t have crossplay. People were also cheap and said “Why should I pay for this when Fightcade is free?”
But the big issue in this game is that in terms of QoL, it has nothing.
The training mode is barebones, the lobby system is wack and it only has 4 slots.
On the other hand, the netcode is good. People who played on FC can compare it, I didn’t, so I won’t.
It’s just a solid emulation option with a good netcode.
