I really wanted to get Samsho 2019 for PS4 but the negative reviews about the netcode threw me off. I’ve been waiting for it to go on sale, but i don’t think it ever has.
The combat style looks right up my alley though
Smasho is slow paced, it is grounded, but there are a lot of chars that have special mobility options, like Iroha being able to double jump, and the ninjas being able to jump on the walls.
I wouldnt say it has yolo moves, but if you dont know how to deal with certain stuff your opponent will surely abuse it.
There arent really juggles in the game, and most combos during the match are connect a hit and cancel for a special, with the lenght coming from the special being multi hit.
With more advanced combos being situational (and they are no longer than 2 or 3 hits and a special/super, lol)
Due the heavy damage nature of the game in general, you will see that players tend to be more cautios, the pace is very specific to the game, not even sf feels like samsho in how is played.

Basically SamSho.
There are some/tough to deal with moves moves but nothing as eggregious as ex tackle into aegis reflector.

The netcode is not as bad as people make it to be.
Its real problem is that is inconsistent.
I dont know if is luck from my part or not, but i have been able to play with friends and randoms in usa and japan, while being in honduras, central america.
Although i wasnt able to play with friends on colombia, lol.
Most of the flack it got was because is not rollback, so people gangbanged it giving it bad reviews.
The matches i posted a while ago of me agaisn another Iroha were against someone in japan.
No lag whatsoever.

You’re in America right? To be able to play with people in Japan is amazing.
You are forgeting Hanzo fireball into runing HS 
Central American, Honduras.
So far most of the games i have, have been able to handle connections with USA EC, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico and Colombia which are where i have friends and family.
Of course some better than others give it or take it, but in general it has been playable.
Also, i usually only play with people i know, and know we will have good connections.
What is funny is that in some cases, i have been able to play with friends on other countries, but not with friends and cousins on the same city, lol.
For example, on SFV and GGXrd, i have better connections with a friend in japan, but i cant play with my cousin without having random lag spikes/desynchs.
Yet he is able to play without problems with said friend as well, lol.

I just like Shiki more when it comes to girls.
One thing for sure, since the games will be free on the EGS, and have rollback, you can expect it to be very populated.
Like i said before, there isnt really a reason for people here to get it, even if is just for the sake of having it.
I really hope that all this rollback additions to old snk games means that they will add it to Samsho 2019.
The game is fucking great, and i really want that it gets more love.
