I did a full Makoto concept for AE. It was a pain in the ass due to her move names so being long. I gave her Tanden Renki for VT1 and the VT2 I gave her like doubled her walk speed instead of boosting her damage. Here is a link to the post. I did this before there were two V-Skills. Its pretty long FYI.

I want to say that Rose is definitely a lock. I hope all 5 are returning characters though.
Also we’re approaching June and they are saying 5 characters. I’m assuming they have been working on the characters already and will still have trailers to show off during Evo Online even if their game doesn’t have a tournament. Maybe we get some reveals by then.
Heck, part of me is hoping as a final season we get all this for free.

I don’t like any of the characters. I know this is probably the most stereotypical compliant but I’m not a fan of the “newcomers” besides Ibuki, and the shotos are boring. That leaves Chun and Ibuki and honestly neither of those characters “wow” me.
Also I really don’t care for parries. I hate dealing with shit like that as an aggressor, and air parries are just an ill-conceived idea in general.
Combos felt kind of limited too, but I haven’t really dived deep into that yet.
