K, I’m actually getting annoyed. They really shouldn’t be putting more characters/unnecessary work into this game when they (should) have bigger fish to fry.
Thankfully, I have a ceiling to bring down. That will make me happy. See you guys later tonight… Hopefully i’ll be down for games, but i may be too exhausted.

Alright. SF6 in 2022. 5 new characters. Who are we getting? Makoto is definitely in now. News on netcode?
Just realized that Ono is getting his wish. SFV’s final roster is going to edge out SFIV’s by one character.

I’m actually guessing one character from each game. 5 is way too specific of a number and all other seasons wound up rounding out at 6.
So my guesses are:
I - Eagle/Gen
II - Dee Jay
III - Makoto
IV - Viper/Abel/Decapre
V - New character of course. Could either be the gorilla or another FF character like Maki. Maybe even a guest. Completely up in the air.
Edit: No news on netcode yet, still trying to get into the Unity site.

Do people realize this is a character with a full screen unreactable move and a command grab ? You hate losing to G and losing 70% in one touch ?

Rufus (G’s VA also voices him. Why get another voice actor?)

I think Abel and Decapre are high chance because they already exist model wise and even move wise ( Decapre ) , easy reuse of assets.

Well first off Hayate isn’t always unreactable, it isn’t fullscreen and, if blocked, is unsafe. They’re never going to make her as good as 3rd Strike, and she wasn’t near S tier in that game either.

Oh right, online.
I doubt they’d make it VT cancellable though. What would her VT even give her? The ability to dash cancel everything? That could be cool and also setup ToD combos like in 3S.
Who really cares? Most people in here will play the new characters for a couple of days, remember why they stopped playing SFV and then throw it in the trash with the knowledge that there will be no more updates.
