These character releases will go into 2021 without a doubt in my mind.

Yeah, I don’t care about the 5 new characters to be honest. I was more excited for them to add the tournament mode, fix the netcode, and do a big balance patch/system overhaul (knowing the last two bits were highly, highly unlikely)
45 characters for a 1v1 game is way too big as well. All of the characters feel similar too.
Honestly, it feels weird that they’re even doing this. Especially after releasing CE. I suspect either SF6 didnt get approval or wont be ready for a long time.

Why if SFV teached them anything, then that they can release a broken and unfinished game and people will defend it till their death because it’s SF.
SFV should have been a coffin after it’s first year, but it was keeped alive by people not willing to eat Capcoms shit.

There will be one more final physical re-release before its all said and done, and it will be a next gen launch title. SF5 will simultaneously also release a F2P version.
SF6 will not happen before 22-23.

This is the first time Capcom has dropped news and I’ve felt absolutely nothing. SFV’s roster is already approaching bloated status at 40+ characters we absolutely do not need 5 more. Especially since there isn’t gonna be an major changes to make the game better. I hate to sound bitter but I really just want a new game at this point.
I’m also kind of peeved because I spent the better part of my limited night looking into the modding thing from yesterday and now I feel like there is no point.
On a similar note I’m sorry y’all but I cannot get into 3S I absolutely hate everything about it. I would rather never play a fighting game again than play SF3.

I think COVID pushed things back a year. This was probably going to be SFV’s swan song with the CPT. Now I see that being 2021.

They’ll probably use a random icon as a wild card to align the rest.
I hope they revamp the main menu, the character select screen is fugly. I miss the old, darker menu style.
