I spent almost $200 on the two versions of Granblue I have, and I don’t play it anymore on either PS4 or PC. God-damned Arc Sys netcode is boo-boo on top of a pile of shit for that.

At that point why bother with any FG, since all the current top ones have ass Netcode.
KI has godlike Netcode and I only see people talk about it not play it and from what I gather, the playernumbers aren’t much better than for CF or Xrd, probably worse
Btw. I just finished some matches in Vermintide with a bunch of Australiens. I’ve never seen something as elegant as a laggy Kruber charging trough a wall and out of bounds.

I consider sfv netcode good huh? Man your reading comprehension must be shot cause I didn’t say that. I said I’ll take it over unist netcode. Since subtlety is lost on you I’ll spell out for you why that specific comparison was made: because unist netcode is so trash I would take the poorest modern implementation of rollback over it. To SFVs credit I think it was fucked over worse by bad cross play than bad netcode but that’s another story.
As for dead games, samsho and snk games in general suffer immensely from this. Worth noting that I’m talking about competitive players and the competitive scene, not dudes playing iroha with one hand. Where did the samsho boys go? Why did Valle, jwong, infiltration stop playing the game they obviously liked and placed well in, hmmm…
Anyway amigo as charming as your schoolboy insults are, I think I’m tapping out on this conversation. I’ll give you credit where it’s due, you duck men not only in games but in internet arguments when asked to back up your own scene, your own boys, results. Respect the consistency.

As for the dumb netcode discussion, Delay is bad, but it’s often playable enough even when it’s ridiculously bad because it tends to be stable.
Never skip intros in Delay Based FGs btw.
SFV’s netcode is pound-for-pound the worst netcode I’ve ever seen. Before the patch it was ass. After the patch it was ass. Even Altimor’s patch was kind of ass because it broke Crossplay.
The answer is clear: Play 3rd Strike. It’s a good game.
