That’s a bit debatable. Not all key reseller sites are fully legit and/or safe. Some will as happily sell you keys not meant for resell, stolen keys, or keys bought through credit card fraud.
G2A has been criticized for many years for reselling stolen keys and keys acquired through fraud, and there has been a fair bit of evidence that G2A intentionally takes advantage of this. Heck, G2A once sold an “insurance” program to consumers, where if you paid G2A a protection fee then G2A would make good on any bad keys you purchased through them. They’ve previously refused to help dev studios deal with credit card fraud situations if the devs didn’t join a G2A program. G2A has even admitted that its service creates problems, but justified its operations with the argument that if they didn’t do it, then someone else would (so it might as well be them making the money).
Some game devs have flat out publicly said that they’d rather consumers straight up pirate their games than buy keys through G2A, due to how much money they lose through credit card fraud chargeback fees.

I see. I never looked into it deep enough, and this is good info to take note of. With due respect, I’ll look up sources for this for my knowledge anyway so I’m more conscious of where my money is going.
Regardless, buy indie games! Full price! Then go to their Patreon and donate! Support other creators!

Any tips on Solidworks? I’m trying to “loft”, but sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, and I just don’t know why.
Granted I’m trying to do random stuff just to get the hang of it. Maybe if I do it from an actual project, it will work just fine.
Instant air dashes give me Persona Arena nostalgia.

Speaking of scum, I had a huge urge to lab UMVC3 today (I just wanted to do some fun shit with X-Men characters).
While I was waiting for it download, I saw Ed Boon tweet something about a special chest available in the MK11 Krypt, and figured why not? Might as well run around and get it while I wait…
Ended up playing MK11 all damn day and settled on a main/tournament variation (Kitana’s Fan-Fare). I’d still modify it if I could but meh, it’s good enough… MFers in Kombat League stomped the F out of me though. Probably wasn’t the best idea to hop online when I was so green, but whatever. I actually had a lot of fun.
Not sure how much of a shit I’ll give tomorrow, and still not buying the DLC package for now (mostly because it’s too expensive for n mmh e right now), but I had fun.

With these key sites how do you end up with the actual game? And… I’m assuming you couldn’t use like steam with it somehow?
You buy a key that applies to you. It’ll mention if it’s a Steam key, or Origin, or whatever. Then go into Steam, click on the bottom left where it says “Add game.” There, you’ll be able to enter a code. That code will be sent to you from the site where you bought it.
Enter that in and you’re set.
TL; Dr:
Site give code.
Put code in app.
Game is in library. Happy hunting.

man you guys talking about it made me buy 30th on steam
i was trash at sfv and that was the only sf game i ever tried to compete in, but 3rd strike was one third of the trifecta (the other two being guilty gear ac and melty blood) that made me get into fighting games back in 08 just from how cool they looked and sounded
I guess I owe 3rd strike a fair shake is what im saying here…
