I think that it depends of how i am doing during the match.
For example, if i dont know how the player i am fighting against plays with the char, i like to test what i can abuse against my opponent, and what i need to worry about.
In general, I usually just let myself go with the flow. Trying different approaches whenever i can, mixing stuff, i know that i flowchart at times, sometimes because i see that my opponent allows me to do it, and sometimes because i dont know much of the char XD.
And since those are casual matches, i also like to test stuff at random, to see what the characters can do.
This game is kind of different from older games, and added new mechanics, new moves, etc, and while i test some stuff on training, i was more of the type to learn while playing against people.
So i have been picking the chars i used on old games, and test what is still on, and what hasnt.
Sadly, with some chars like Hilde, i feel i will have to test a lot on training because she alongside Amy seem to have gained new sub systems that are not as easy to get during midmatch, and their combo routes seem to involve the use of them for what i gather.
I see. Itâs a very natural way to play. Good style! For this last part, I have a hard time playing Ken in SFV too, for example. Itâs too weird for me, so I understand the difficulty you have. Good luck!
You know, giving that you like 3S, i think that you would maybe like Soulcalibur.
IIRC, the japanese put it on the same category as SF, as an âStrike Gameâ.
Where is more about positioning and normals than larger combos, not that there arent, but they are usuallly seen more when you are punishing your opponent.
According to Whole Paycheck, this creation is apparently imported from Italy. Wherever it comes from it gud!! âWood fired Neapolitan style crust with a cream sauce, topped with a blend of cheeses and cracked black pepper, finished with a drizzle of fig and apricot sauce.â Yum.
Itâs starting to look like you canât be an accomplished fighting game player unless you got some disgusting shit in your closet⌠@Doctrine_Dark what are you not telling us? Do you jerk off kittens in the dark?
Can anybody suggest a good arcade style driving game on steam? Itâs to get my 4yo to play something else than Mario Kart on iPad, so he can develop some manuality on a controller. All the racing games I have are sims.
I probably wonât like it plays out but its got a similar thing to BBTag going on where they did a lot with a little.
Need to mess around with it some more but Iâm surprised by the simplicity of it. they did a pretty decent job with a few buttons.
Edit: Fuck am I saying decent in a condescending way for? Like i wouldâve done better. apologies for that.
Iâm really surprised at how well the ideas worked out. Not sure that I wouldâve figured it out. Donât know how this will translate to gameplay yet though.
The early Tekken scene was kind of wild so Iâm sure there might be some juice there, especially when the scene started messing with the SC scene which was full of âsmash like playersâ
