Wait, what? Really? Thatās the ninja in ninja gaiden?
I only played the DOA game that was on PS2 (I think it was DOA 2) and I liked it quite a bit but Iām pretty sure I didnāt know that. Heck, like Skort, I didnāt even remember any male characters lol
Thanks Zio!
Besides being a a member of team AARP, Iām probably the only person in the world that has owned a version of every DOA fighting game, yet has never owned any of the Xtreme Volleyball games.
Edit: @PlusFrames Most people remember Zack (Dennis Rodman), Bass (Hulk Hogan), Jann Lee (Bruce Lee), or Ryu (Ninja Gaiden Protag).
If you know Nioh, thats also in the same universe.
You can fight Ryus anchestor there, and the sword smith Muramasa is also there.
Hmmmmm weird it says āThe Muscleā on her belt but I donāt see any muscle on her.
Yup. Ryu Hayabusa is part of DOA. There was a Nintendo DS game that covers the story of all games
Anyway, Ninja Gaiden Black is one of the best action games ever. EVER!!!
Itās showing where you insert the muscle
I own that version of DOA too. Honestly I was surprised at how deep the story mode was. Caught me off guard. Had solid training mode and it even ran at 60fps. It has to be the most underrated game in the franchise. I kept which theyād port it to Switch.
I wish I could fathom how many hours I played that NES game for. Iām pretty sure I beat it too.
Games back then were so much harder to beat (limited lives, no saves, etc), and more hype because of it.
I just want the vf characters back in DOA. Add Vanessa!
At least we are back to talking about games for a change.
Good.
Even as a guest character hater, I had to swallow my disdain on VF characters in DoA. As sadly, I knew that was the only way weād see them again. At least, like KI, DoA didnāt cut in DoA characters to fit them in.
Emulators save states really spoiled me.
You donāt need them for NES games. You use need the Japanese versions of NES games. They were easy mode in comparison to the US ones. Itās why I always found Square giving us the easy mode FFIV on SNES insulting. They got the easy mode NES games we didnāt.
Edit: Because renting games was legal in the US, they cranked up the difficult to insane levels. So our games were much harder.
It depends on the game you play.
Some are easy mode regardless of region , others are a nightmare, but still fun.
I have almost all 1k + nes games rom downloaded, I play these kind of games often
Counting the unlicensed ones that is.
My Pc is junk, but does anyone else regularly run into issues installing games off Steam? Itās like I always have to restart my computer after downloading but, but before installing it
