Idk, Cipher been pretty tame lately.
Maybe its the fact that most people here actually started to share his opinion about SFV lol…
Well, let me give you one example.
There was this one Discord, I was constantly advertaising and constantly getting people in.
The Discord had a nice stream of new player every day.
And then I got pissed.
We had one player on the Discord, who openly said, “the only reason I still play this game, is to ruin the experience for everyone else and stomp newbs.”
As I called him out on this, I got told, there is nothing wrong with this.
The newbs stoped playing, I stoped advertaising, cause I didn’t want to give this person more fodder.
Now the regular tournaments are stagnant and ON HOLD duo to low participation numbers, there is barely anyone joining now AND the Channels are all dead. People play, yeah the same 5 people play with each other every day, no new people, no mix up. Just one extremly stupid Tager main, who gets extremly salty at anyone who beats him, while having a giant ego when he wins.
A Hakumen who only targets newbs to stomp them.
A Litchi I still play with, cause he’s fun to fight and a Memelord.
A Kagura, who most of the time plays with himself.
And a Tsubaki that gets ignored most of the time.
Not even our incarnated DP Lord plays anymore.
And now I left like 3 months ago and the server is basically dead and nothing has changed.
We had a big Granblue Group, they all left the server or gone inactive.
BUT WHEN I ASK THEM IF THEY WANT TO PLAY, THEY IMMEDIETLY JUMP OUT OF THEIR GRAVES!!!
And now I want to get into Melty.
And maybe back into Granblue once Season 2 roll around.
And why not form your own discord/facebook/etc group and ignore the idiots?
Thats a lot of work and I’m not a leader type.
Is not really too much work, you, specially if you have other people that can help you.
You just need to create the server, and get some people that are willing to promote it and help with stuff if needed.
I am sure that at least some of the people you know will be willing to help just so you can have fun playing the game, get more people to play it and ignore the idiots ruining it for everyone.
You dont need to go fancy from the start, just create the server and channels as they are needed.
You can later add bots to help with the server
I keep that in mind, I have like a dozen that would probably want to help.
One is a mod on the Discord I left and keeps me informed how ‘well’ the server is doing.
Gonna have a meme channel. Cause I can’t life without my memes.

Bought MK Aftermath, mostly so I could use those new ninja lady skins (I’m a shill for waifu skins in any game). I’m interested in trying out some of these new characters if you want to go a few casual rounds sometime @PlusFrames

Well I believe those skins are free of charge. So at least you don’t have to spend any additional cash.
Yeah you just have to own Aftermath, which I was planning on getting at some point eventually. They know how to light a fire under people like me to pull the trigger though.

Sounds good man! I’m free most evenings… Though lately, a little less than usual - I’ll let you know whenever i’m on, and yeah, I’m rocking that Kitana skin for sure lol.
Also, i think you get some new skims/gear from running through the Aftermath story, so you ay want to try that… It’s actually pretty good (besides what they did to sindel).

Kitana’s new skins and the catwoman one make me want to pick her up, but I think I’m going to try and learn Jade’s 3rd variation (Rose fireball reflect) and Fujin.
It will never cease to annoy me though that the default variations for all these characters aren’t the tournament variations. I have to go in and change everything ever time.
