The Street Calibur 5 Lounge: The Soul Burns But not as Hard as the FGC is Burning

It was gonna be Soul Calibur themed.

“Soul Burning hard than the FGC is.”

I don’t know wtf. If what I’ve been hinted at is true, there are still more stories to come out though. So get ready because the fireworks started early.

She had sex with a whole ass minor who looked way younger than his age at the time. Put her ass in jail.

What’s the punishment for pedophilia in the U.S. in terms of years?

Its true. I understood it in the digitalization era (MK 1-3) but don’t now… The again, i guess they’ve just replaced the digital actors with mocap artists.

Depends on the state and the situation.

There are different charges based on what happened. Rape, lewd acts with a minor…forgot what the rest of the possible charges are called. Corruption of a minor I think is one.

So if I had to guess anywhere between 3-20 years depending on the situation.

wait, how is pedophilia not a federal crime?

It is if it crosses state lines. The way jurisdiction works in the US is that any crime committed inside of a state’s “borders” if for state/local governments to deal with. Once it crosses state lines, then the federal government gets involved.

Many of the crimes that happened are tried in local/state courts. Things like spreading child pornography that whole fucking vile world of bullshit, since it extends past the confines of a state, is a federal crime.

Federal isn’t really a label of seriousness but one of jurisdiction for the majority of it. If a drug deal happens in a street corner, local government takes care of that. If you drive drugs from one state to another, it instantly becomes a federal issue because two states are involved.

Then, why is it that dispenseries cannot pay taxes because selling weed is a crime on a federal level even if it is not a crime in the state. It’s so complicated.

I don’t know about the states, but pedophile (and rape) charges in Canada are wack as fuck. Likely only a few years, if that, and it’s so common for these people to re-offend that they notify their communities that they’re being released there.

In high school, a young girl one of my good female friends knew was raped and murdered. The POS criminal had been convicted on pedo charges twice already before this.

Im not saying people don’t deserve second chances (though i do question that about these guys), but this guy was like in his 40’s. Clearly his prior convictions weren’t long enough.

That’s where you get into the goofy issues with enforcement. Technically, at any point, the DEA could come in and shut dispensary downs. The compromise being held at the moment is sort of an unspoken one: you can sell weed but as soon as somebody tries to drive it out of the state, they can get bodied.

Think everybody is letting it slide because taking things to court would be a massive clusterfuck. Similarly its also who the federal system is supposed to work. States get to decide largely how they run and then there’s built in tension between what’s good for the country overall and how people would like their state to run.

Sort of works out in practice.

The amount of ppl prioritizing their admiration or concern for Nairo over the safety and well-being of his victim…ugh that community.

It’s just crazy. Just a day ago, people had watched him do a money match with another Smash player and good times were had. Really sucks seeing a pillar turn into that and I can understand why it’s hard for some people to fully accept that.

But the people who looked at the Cinnapie case and said ‘Nice’? Fuck them.

LTG’s trolling is on some other shit sometimes:

Ltg needs his ass whooped.

Thinking of the Cinnipie case, the first classmate in my HS class to lose his virginity was 14 and it was with an 18yo girl, they even dated a while.
He was still in denial of his homosexuality (literally everyone knew).
How does that look in modern day sensibility?

I don’t know about how y’all feel about this shit, and this may even sound like I’m riding but the wave, but I’m going to back out of my MK11 Evo registration.

I had no chance of doing anything better than going 0-2. I really just wanted to say I competed in Evo (for honestly, probably pretty wack and superficial reasons), but now it doesn’t even sound like something cool to do.

If I was a legit competitor maybe it’d be different, but I wasn’t really doing it for the right reasons to begin with.

Its something you have to put up with in the school system but it gives you hella pause. Seeing a senior (which are usually 18 years of age) dating a freshman (14) is always freaking weird. But they’re in high school and could potentially end up taking classes together so there’s not much you can do about it.

That 4 year thing doesn’t really pan out when a 22 year old is dating an 18 year that’s still in high school. That old ass mofo can go get bent.
