I mean, if ya’ll know the game has this button issue, and you agree to continue playing it, that’s on you at that point. Certainly don’t go crying when you deal with it for the umpteenth time.

No, he doesn’t.
It’s one thing to use certain bugs and glitches, but that’s flat-out bad sportsmanship and frankly dishonest.
Just because a game has a built-in lagswitcher doesn’t mean you should use it or think it’s ok to use it.
One of the things I like about MK11 is it discourages you from mashing.
To do a wakeup roll, you have to press 3+4 (or the side switch button) the instant your character moves to stand up. If you press it before that (ie, mashing 3+4) while you’re knocked down, it won’t come out.
There’s also a few strings and cancels that get messed up if you mash them.
Anyways, regarding this, I don’t know if Myers was purposely mashing to F up the connection, but mashing the 3P button does seem odd.

I don’t see anything wrong with what Myers is doing. He’s just hitting 3 punches trying to quickrise. Technically he could try and time it without mashing, but I do this too - hitting 3 punches/kicks for the quickrise/backroll. He’s not intentionally doing it to cause lag.
Whew. Streaming 3S is hectic because you get your ass kicked live, but also you reveal all your learning secrets.
