If you needed proof that I am an excellent teacher, today a student showed up wearing all ruby red sneakers. In the span of an hour I asked him to click his heels to see if he’d go back to Kansas, asked the whole class to help me search for his dog Toto, and when the class was over, as he was leaving I wrapped my arm around his, started skipping next to him and sang “we’re off to see the wizard”
Due to generational and cultural gap no one got the jokes, but I was very amused with myself.
Also might have called him Dorothy when it was his turn to answer.
