Maybe, but it doesnt change the fact that this is not about trying to prove if really happened, but just throw an accusation and fuck someones life regardless if is true or not.
They know they dont need to prove anything, just say that someone did something and call it a day.

Believe me when i say that i am not much of a fan of Mr.Wizard, and for all we know, the shit he is being accused can be true, but the moment they do it this way, is clear that is not about actually making things right, but just weponize the stupidity of the mob.
But from what we have seen so far, it is usually people just wanting to destroy peoples lifes because whatever reason, sometimes just out of malice.
The problem is that if it was really some sort of assault they will go with the authorities, not bringging it to social media where they know they just need to throw the bomb, and get away.
They dont need to prove anything.
We have seen it a lot, wher people just throw accusations, ruin lifes and turned to be lies or exagerations.
To this day you still get people asking for Infiltration to get banned from tournaments because the accusations that were proven to be false in the south korean legal system.
But that doesnt matter, once you are accused, the mob doesnt care if its proven false.
