Maybe they’ll just Juri Makoto if she makes it to SFV and give her a new moveset. Axe Kick? Now it’s Kage’s actual axe Kick and ground only. Command grab? Gone. She has a projectile now. Dash punch? Nope, close range Johnny Cage nut punch as a fanservice reference to Seichushen Godanzuki.
Makoto isn’t korean.She is safe.

Even if they do completely re-vamp her moveset, the last two characters they did that for (Seth and Poison) are both super strong.
Anyway, I’m actually glad I’m working from home now. I can watch the showcase while pretending to be working, instead of trying to peak at it in an office

This is fair. I actually want Makoto because she’d reach her final gorilla form in this game.
She’ll make S1 Mika seem fair and balanced.

Oh they’ll start bitching once the honey moon period is over. Be sure of it. I honestly question if some of these people know kind of character Makoto is. If Makoto is added and done correctly, I can see Idom having a field day with her.

Only stage I would want is Ken’s stage from Alpha 2. Absolute favorite stage from the series. They don’t even need to update it. Just have the same look and music from back then.

One of the big reasons why I like her in 3s is because of her animations. I could see capcom messing this up pretty hard lol

Ya’ll complain about Makoto and how dumb she’d be in this game but, I highly doubt she’s going to be as dumb as she ever was in 3S again. Like, not even close. Character could literally one touch you, two touch at the worst.

The big draw of Makoto is just how well she fits SFV meta.
Naturally, she’ll be weaker, but so is everyone else. 
As long as she got a solid AA, it’s a wrap.
If SFV meta is what most complain about why want a character that excels at that type of gameplay ?

Makoto had 1200 Stamina in 3S. Average for that game was around 1120.

She can definitely end up dumber by a large margin.
Why? Urien is arguably better in SF5 than he is in 3S.
Makoto needing to ToD you to be ridiculous is probably the biggest misconception about her character in 3S. The fact that so many Makotos rock SA1 Seichuzen Godanzuki in more match ups shows how much she is about just frame trap and really quick hard hitting nonsense.
USF4 Makoto with the EX fukikage that had a horizontal hitting hitbox which would launch on hit and could be jump cancel was murder incarnate. She needed one EX bar and then you were in a mix up to lose 500 health.
She can definitely be a full donkey in SF5. SF5 is a series of blatantly making full donkeys.
