If there’s one XX character in the game, it’s her. It’s not even speculation at this point. Cold hard facts.
Whether or not she’ll play the same is up in the air, probably not. But she’s in.

I’m personally believing either Sin, or someone else from Xrd is getting revealed next.
They got all the OG GG’s characters out of the way from the jump (except the bosses), then we got Ram and Leo. Nago is a brand new one.
So it’s either Xrd/GG2, a brand new char or they’re moving on to the other entries of the franchise, meaning either a X (Venom or Dizzy) or an XX char (Slayer/i-No) is more likely.
Sin is frankly the easiest pick for the next reveal.
If we go by 16 Starting Characters, we have 3 spots left currently, if I’m not mistaken.
This means 2 Characters + the new female boss, since every ASW Boss outside of Terumeme has to be a girl.
So you better pray for I-No, cause I’m sure Elphelt and Johnny will be the last 2.

I just played a very satisfactory set of GBVS, guy was adapting to my play style instead of flowcharting like a madman (Djeeta player nontheless) we went back and forth, until I called it quits because it’s late, kinda sucks, that shit was engaging.

Besides, I find it hard to believe no XX reps are getting in, and she’s the most iconic and plot-relevant character from that era.

Baiken wasn’t played in Xrd because she felt hampered. They redesigned her gameplay fundamentally without giving her much.
She was played more in previous games when she was actually fun. I don’t see what is wrong with adding Baiken her redesign in XRD was made to attract casuals to Guitly Gear not any different than her gorilla contemporaries Raven and Leo both characters made for people who don’t traditionally play GG in the past. Unlike them she sucked, and was more technical on floor entry.
She will be DLC down the line.
