There are 30 more people playing Them Fighting Herds in Japan/Korea than there is anybody playing MK11.

KI hasn’t had an update in a few years but still has more people playing it than MK11.

No one actually takes MK seriously. It’s for normies that want to mash with Low Kang so they can save the elder lords from the threat of the Shu Kung legion. After that you bin the game and go back to playing Fifa and 2K.

TLOU 2 was probably one of if not the best gaming experience as a whole I’ve had this current gen. It basically took my emotions on a gauntlet.

From having fun, feeling rewarding, being challenging (played on hard mode) suspenseful, funny, feeling like it was lame, and agendy, being angry, over the top, shocked and disappointed and upset.

Can’t say many games have done that at all in my life time tbh. Even with all that it had it’s fair share of problem with the story and length of the game, but the game as a whole is a solid 9/10

I played TLOU1 and watched a full play through of TLOU2. TLOU2 is a 6/10 game at best.

1. There’s not combat innovation.

This is actually an issue with Naughty Dog rather than exclusively with TLOU. ND makes the visuals and the story do all the heavy lifting while the game play loop is outdated as fuck. The only thing that changed about combat is visual interactions. I’ll admit that various ways you get to see Abby and Ellie bite the big is cool but that’s about it.

2. The story is needlessly grim dark and you hate everyone.

Joel getting Abby smashed is probably not even the worst thing about the game’s narrative. The fact that they had to make Tommy a fucking retard not one but twice is peak character assassination. And Ellie’s final choice to go confront Abby one last time is ungodly writing. There were some pretty stand out moments between certain characters but not enough to justify some of the dumb shit.

Also Joel did nothing wrong.

3. AI

The AI is still absolute trash. The Stealth is also subpar as fuck lol

With almost 100% of certainity, all fgs have a larger and healthier player base on consoles, specially on the sony brand.

With the exception being older games that rely on emulation.

We just can’t know for sure. Although there is incentive for consoles to have bigger numbers because PS4 is the standard device for most tournaments.

But alas, without actual numbers, all of this is speculation, not fact.

Is no speculation, you can extrapolate by using the rank numbers to see how many players the game has, for example.
Is not just that is the standard for tournaments, but is that more people play on consoles, and the majority of the fg players gravitate to them rather than pc.

Skullgirls is perhaps an exception, but i bet that the number of people who have it consoles is still major than the people who have it on PC.
