Yeah don’t get me wrong, I don’t care if other folks hate it. I’ve lurked here a while and been posting maybe a year or so, but I’ve never come out swinging against anyone who says the game is trash, because it’s not on me to convince anyone otherwise.

I just like to share my enthusiasm for a game I like, and so far I haven’t felt un-welcome doing that here, even if so many people are down on the game.

@Darc_Requiem I’d like to take you up on that, ideally next week when Rose is released :joy:

I came here hoping to find some people to play, because I’m really bad, but better than my friends so they hate playing me, and playing ranked gives me anxiety.

I’m Silver scrub but I have brief moments of competence on occasion. I don’t really play any shotos, so that would definitely differ from your ranked experience.

I’m still hoping to achieve my goal of Gold rank before the year’s end, so I might need some of y’alls help. Right now I’m just kind of waiting to see if they’re gonna add my favorite character of the series or not before I truly commit.

Gold ?

Anti air , learn a simple punish combo or just throw if you are unsure. People get really frustrated if you play defensive at lower brackets as most just want to hit their training mode combo.

Learn to AA, don’t panic DP, stop jumping, finish your combos, check the dash grab, don’t challenge Bison yes he’s plus, don’t get rolled by wack characters like Alex, Gill, claw or Ed and pick high tier.

Actually, I can anti air pretty well with Seth. And Kolin. With Alex its 50/50. Some days I just can’t react to shit.

I think that’s where it all falls apart for me. I can theoretically do all that stuff on paper, but when people pressure me I crack too much.
