Tbh after so many years it really don’t matter anymore. It’s how the game is i suppose, it won’t be changing with some balance updates as it’s engineered to play like this and to generate amounts of salt.
So it’s whatevs by this point.

She’s a straight up cool character.
Also this.
She fits so well in SFV that I can’t help but want them to unleash her to terrorize those streets.
And don’t forget, this is the last season, ain’t no patch coming to save these fools.
I’ll finally make it to Bronze!
Dude real talk ?
You can get to at least ultra silver by just freakyn anti airing and wait for people to do something dumb. You don’t even need combos.
Fuudo is 35 years old?! For real?
You can ask the 3S crew, I got them skies covered.
It just doesn’t happen in SFV.
I can’t even pinpoint why, I guess I just get salty when I see fuckers jumping back and forth at full screen with no rhyme or reason, Ken and Akuma doing bad shoto things and generally people playing dumb af and that throws me off my game.
Messing up a meaty because of a punk mashing on KD (which creates a lagspike) and then getting hit by wake-up sweep is a WOAT feeling.
Haven’t played old SF games in ages. Don’t even know who i would play in 3rd strike.
Probably Ibuki or Dudley.
Only in trigger and it’ll be like +6 or -10 on block.
Or they could fuck it up like Ryu’s Cr. MK xx Hadouken.
Seriously, how many seasons did it take for them to make that shit work?
One of makotos vtriggers needs to be her power up super. So no blocking but gives her a frame 1 parry lol
Would be kinda cool if SF5 would get an OMEGA mode like SF4 did in the end, basically serving as a testing ground for SF6 character redesign.
Something extra to mess around with at least.
Would be kinda cool if ya’ll stopped getting each other’s hopes up just to be disappointed
Come on that’s what forums are for
Doesn’t even need the “no blocking” aspect, though changing the blocking ability to a parry command would be cool af.
Make it a 3-Bar VT and we good.
Abare is probably going to be a VT mini-super though, so I don’t think her power-up will be picked ever. I’d probably pick it tho. Parries are too good.
Seichusen Godanzuki is definitely going to be her CA, it’s just too iconic.
Hoping her EX Hayate is still damn near unreactable.
Y’all gonna miss Urien’s EX Tackle.
Not getting my hopes up for anything, i am just speculating a bit.
Even if they add Gouken , i would probably drop the game fast. It’s still Street Fighter V.
Have you considered politics?
That’s probably the most obvious v trigger she can get. I can see pressing HP + HK again giving her a parry if they make it so that she can’t block in that state.
V trigger 2 could be Abare Tosanami. Working like Aegis Reflector where activation would do the move immediately and having an extra one while the bar drains.
Thinking of v skills for her is tricky though. One could basically be like her taunt in 3S. Holding v skill buttons making her attacks more powerful once you let go or she finishes the full animation. No clue for what her second v skill would be like.
It’s fun thinking of concepts even if the character doesn’t have a chance to make it in.
You don’t want Mak getting 2 Abare like that fam.
2-bars, one shot, just like Vega’s VT1.
Gotta check what she got in Omega. At least one is gonna help her deal with fireballs, we know how SFV rolls.
Thanks for not jinxing it.
Even though we have parries in this game i would like if Gouken would get his counter back.
It was super satisfying to use. I actually played Kolin a bit for the parry alone and it feels good but the old man is where it’s at.
I guess i just really like the character. Low parry into forbidden shoryu was my thing.
Remember Fuudo started off as a Virtua Fighter player. The last time one of those was released, I was a fit young man, 219lbs (99.5kg), had a full head of cornrowed hair, SF4 was two years away from a Japanese arcade release, and George W. Bush was President.
The last three times I’ve seen something VF-related actually get released was when Smash Ult dropped some Mii costumes, a minigame in Yakuza and a mobile crossover.
This franchise is burning in a dumpster fire as we speak.
