Completely unrelated to everything: I’m playing LoL with some friends now and someone recommended to try Sona. This might be my favorite champion in any MOBA ever.

Dunno about League being the best. Mechanically I prefer Dota 2 for the most part. D2 just… has some glaring issues. And an unbelievably shit community.

Sona’s got everything I want in a champ though. Excellent support toolkit, good lane harass and potential for kill-setups even without ult, and also a potentially game-turning ult that also lets her function as a playmaker if necessary? That’s all the things I like about these games in one, provided whoever I’m laning with isn’t a complete idiot. And I’m always playing with friends, so that last part isn’t an issue.

I’m happy you’re liking League. You should give Rakan a try too. He’s a sort of enchanter like Sona but he’s a bit more engaging. It’s like if Dante from Devil May Cry was a support

Well he’s melee range but he’s a stylish peacock man who can dash to his allies and shield them but also has another dash that ends in an AoE knockup. He can pretty much pinball between shielding his ally or CCing an enemy and can even poke a bit with his Q, which heals himself and a buddy if it lands.
He’s a very versatile and flashy support. Probably one of my favorites. He doesn’t scale as well as Sona but his utility more than makes up for it imo. Plus he’s a funny/dumb peacock man
