I finally figured out how to use Fightcade to play MVC2 (or at least it runs when I go to Test Game, I haven’t actually tried playing someone yet, because I don’t have the energy to take my laptop downstairs to the wired connection).

It does seem like Fightcade is just a lobby system, and I believe the netcode is delay (though they do something about the frames to make it better than standard delay, from what I recall), but if this lobby thing makes it so you don’t have to put out your own IP to play someone then that’s a huge plus, and pretty much the reason I wasn’t playing this before.

Anyways, if anyone wants links and instructions, let me know. There’s a few steps to it.

Also, thanks @Dayaan for your help. That guide helped a lot. Personally, I don’t think it’s written the clearest, and there were some steps to get it working with Fightcade 2 it didn’t mention, but nothing too tricky.

Before trying to get MVC2 to work, I messed around with X-Men COTA, and while it’s beautiful (and a good 1v1 X-Men fighter is something I’ve always wanted), I didn’t like some of the mechanics/systems in it. Oh well.

I played about 30 minutes and it feels so good lol.

And what weeb shit is Charge UP then press down +A lol!!!

I tried it like 20 times and gave up. It’s like the beginner tutorial and I can’t even do it.

That said. UNIST has a freaking impressive tutorial Jesus christ.

Am playing tekken with @Zioserpe now. He just mauled me with his one week old King. Lol.
