Good luck man. Ive been trying to get custom artwork done now since i started. Havent even gotten a valid response yet lol I think the art is dead… people just do it for fun or for their own sticks. I dont think very many people are still doing this on a custom order basis anymore. at least, not making it a common practice to stop by here and check for potential clients.

I question the rationale behind asking for art and then disappearing. That’s three of mine on this page where the person just didn’t come back. Maybe you guys just don’t like my work? If that’s the case, tell me!
I guess that’s what I get for trying to help some people out.
i guess some people don’t understand that it takes time to the artwork, they think the person doing the artwork is going to be done in minutes.
for some reason i never got notified of the news in this thread until today? not sure why 
but yeah the artwork is cool, but the main art on the left is a bit more “animation” than i was looking for, and not quite as “raw evil” as i would prefer. i guess in a stick art im looking more for something “wicked” or “brutal” looking. More with Akuma than E. Ryu i suppose. Ill see if i can find something similar to what im looking for with other chars, and maybe see if i can submit some cool images to you for inspiration? Also the blood splatter on the buttons is a bit much for my style, i think i would benefit from a more “classy” or “elegant” approach to decorating around the buttons. maybe a pinstriped design? Definitely a nice stick art bro and thank you for the effort

quite on the contrary. i fully intend to repay the efforts of the artist with whatever (reasonable) price he wishes if its an artwork i intend to use, and i do understand these things can take an hour or more to produce and thats not to be taken lightly. I just honestly did not know he had submitted any artwork lol never got the notification.
Okay so after a little research and some deliberation on potential possibilities on images, here are a few images i came up with for inspiration (or even direct implementation)
I toyed with the ideas of color motif, and either black/red or black/white would work, but perhaps you can give your own personal opinion? The case is black and white and i can definitely paint the sides to be black for a black/red stick, but with a black/white motif like the one below, the white sides actually do the stick a nice justice for aesthetics. I dont know how much can be done with this motif and it seems like the design would have to be rather simple… but who knows. maybe you have some insight on that.
Heres one with Bison as the main art. Obviously, not looking for Bison at all, but the color motif goes really well with the black/white nature of the case. Very elegant and simple. Perhaps something similar can be done with some of the other images below?

This is an Akuma art (obviously) but while i dont like the colors, i do like the layout and how he factored in his signature symbol as being a major part of the background. Very nice idea IMO, and wouldnt mind having something similar implemented in mine.

Another Akuma art. The silhouette of his face in the top area is a nice touch. The main image to the left is a litte… funky for my tastes… but the silhouette to the right is another nice touch and i think would actually work really well if done properly on a black/white motif.

This Akuma art is really just absolutely solid. I mean with a little transposition and some added elements inside it, a possible shift in color tone (either B&W or black/red and this could be a standalone template for almost exactly what im looking for. Elegant, simple, and serious.

this is another motif style to consider. same black and white style but with a bit more color, and a bit more “busyness” in the overall design. This is probably close to what the final product will end up looking like considering id like 3 characters to be imposed on it. Akuma, Evil Ryu, and Juri. But i dont want them all to be so big and “larger than life”… rather, more silhouettes and background images blended in a bit more. This is a great design but all the images are so bold it almost looks like they were just copy/pasted onto a background rather than effectively designed INTO the background. know what i mean?

As for the implementation of Juri, if possible id like to see something done with her being her “sexy” little self, perhaps even a direct shot of her during her #1 taunt, something similar to this picture

Here’s the template I made for Deathproof…had to censor it because Raven Hex wears nipple spikes and i’m not sure on SRK’s nipple spike policy…
I haven’t posted on the forums much and Im wondering about the rules for getting or making custom stick art. When you use the word commission on SRK does that mean the design was paid for, or just made specially for one person? I guess i’m just asking if its okay to buy and sell designs on here, and if it’s common practice. Sorry if this is posted somewhere obvious.
Basically commissions are templates people paid to have made. I’d say that 80% of all templates are made for free, either by the person themselves or by someone else.
As far as I know, commissions can range from $10 to 30$ on average and it’s really like a contract in my opinion for the person to get the job done. There are no commissions allowed on this thread, when a request is made anyone can work on the template but it is for free of course and there really is no time limit on it. the template i posted above your post took about a week because I was pretty busy and all those images were hard to come by. If a template is free, anyone can use that template, if it is a commission, only the person that commissioned the work has the right to use it or allow others to use it. This makes it a gray area though, since it’s copyrighted art that has been photoshopped to meet template requirements.
Ok thanks for clearing that up, but if they aren’t allowed here where are commissions allowed? SRK’s buying and selling rules confuse me because it seems to be forum specific.
