Hi guys, I’d like to put together a Q template for my MadCatz Round 2 TE Fightstick. The TE template is here.

Here’s a basic mockup that I have so far.

The reason I call this a mockup is because I’d like to find an artist to commission to make original art instead of using found images; that way everything on the stick will look consistent.

I don’t know what to do for the background yet, but I was thinking a faded out image of the boat stage from SFII where Q can be seen in the background might look nice, but couldn’t find any good hi-res art. Either that or a color gradient, or something abstract. I have no idea. This is why I’m looking for an artist

Some things I’m not sure on yet are adding Q’s name somewhere, or maybe the Third Strike logo, and maybe a design around the buttons to make them stand out. I prefer simpler aesthetics, so those things aren’t necessary.

If anyone’s available or know someone who is, kindly let me know. Thanks!

Great image.
I was looking at it, and this will require a lot of editing to elaborate on… If the background was a solid blue instead of the striped it would be much easier! Granted, if you didn’t mind the tower-robot-hand-thing being covered by your buttons, then you can just blow this up to and you’re set.

Thanks for the reply! I intended on replacing my TE stick buttons with see-through Seimitsu 30mm buttons placing either the art or LED inserts. Considering that I don’t have any artistic skill whatsoever, I’d appreciate anyone attempting turning this image into a template! It’s a bit of a nerdy dream for me to complete this stick! Thanks for any help =D

I’m absolutely terrible with photoshop or anything graphic based so I was hoping someone could help me out with some stick art. I’m still using the default art on my TE Round 1 and I think it’s about time for something new.

I don’t have a specific image in mind but I was hoping for Juri art except with a light blue palette on a white background. Something along the lines of her color 4 (maybe a l little lighter) but I can’t seem to find any images online. For reference I’m planning on picking up this balltop:

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could make a template for a SSFIV TE R2 stick with these.

I’d like for Tasky to be in the left side bottom corner area, maybe have the background extended across the whole template.

And I’d love for this to replace the SF4 logo in the bottom right corner.

Above the buttons Taskmaster in Olde English lettering would be amazing. I hope I did this right!

I was wondering what you guys think of this artwork? It was put together by Souji for the custom he’s building me. I only gave him an idea of what I wanted and he created this. I’m very pleased to say the leased.

@ big worm I can respect that but with the color of the case and buttons and balltop everything fits perfectly…ill post pics when I get it.

@ Savaii64, Thanks I think it came out well too, I wanted to do a evolution of Ichigo theme since I saw it in shonen jump and I think Souji did very well on this.

I just got a MvC3 TE stick and I want to change the art. I have no clue how to use photoshop or other graphics programs and I noticed that there are a couple of sick photoshop people in this thread.

I really like this picture:

But, I prefer the way this image “jumps” off the screen. It is so bright and it looks really sharp:
