Hey everyone. This may sound a bit selfish seeing as I solely registered on these forums for thisā¦ But would you mind helping me out? Iāve been up all night and before trying to catch some zās I wanted to make a nice stick design. I havenāt used PS in years and Iām getting angry and Iād appreciate some help with thisā¦ Iām about to get a TE very soon and Iād like to mod it with a design similar to my tragedy. I just canāt get the lighting and blending down and itās driving me mad at this point. Not to mention the excessive use of brushes that I couldnāt fix. Iām also scared that when I actually get the mod done, itād look pixelatedā¦ The only thing Iād want extra is an āAnthonyCFā thrown in there. Unless you guys think this will be good and not turn out bad when I go to Kinkos, then I wouldnāt want you all to go through the motions. I thank you in advance.

Kid Kaos: Lol, damn you, I was gonna jack my own background for sticks XD. Good work though. When you cut characters out, sometimes they look good with a little Outer Glow or Drop Shadow, that way they look more apart of the background than placed ontop.
AnthonyCF: Your girl looks out of proportion, like you stretched her vertical without stretching her equally horizontal, so she looks really long and skinny. Maybe thatās just her or the pic, but it just doesnāt look normal, hehe.
Also, real people are difficult to work into to rendered backgrounds. The contrast between her whiteness and the blackness of the background is probably the blending problem youāre running in to. Iād save a āwork fileā with all the layers in tact, then merge everything together, do some curve/brightness/saturation adjustments (or just auto-levels), dupilcate the layer, ontop do a gaussian blur at about 3-4px, then set its blend mode to multiply/lighten/overlay, maybe mess with the hue/saturation/lightness levels of the top layer until everything looks well colored. I just kind of stop anywhere during those steps where I think it looks blended. If it still doesnāt blend, you may have to consider something more drastic like dropping a gradient layer ontop of everything and seeing what it looks like in different blend modes/changing its colors. Thereās a preset brown and white one that looks awesome if you go diagonal from the top left to bottom right corner, I whore that one quite a bit.
Vegit814: I may be able to recreate it, but it looks like a lot of work .. Iāll stick around and see if somebody posts one.
Aoi84: I actually used the background for my own TEs piece just changed the color to orange grey and pink ill upload a pic tomorrow maybe, but when he said silver background ur ink splotches were the first thing to hit me to look good in silver, and Iām still getting a hang of photoshop, not to savvy at all of it so I still come here for requests sometimes, tho most ppl donāt take them up haha

On my screen it looks really pixel-yā¦ Itās probably just because I canāt fit the resolution on my screen.
Iād do a ctrl+U and turn the middle āSaturationā bar on the whole pic down a couple notches.
Not too much more you can do about the pixelatoin. If you started with a low res pic, you gotta ride with it and hope for the best = . If the full PSD is in high res, the actual print may look a little a better.

I have another request. Iām doing a complete Seimitsu makeover on my Tekken 6 stick and want to do a Steve Fox theme. Could anyone do anything with these images? Iām thinking Steve on the left, with the British flag on the right under the buttons, with his name below that. If possible, a dark background to contrast the off white of the case.

I recently got a TE-S stick, and so the templates I had that were made for me which were for Rd.2 TEs arenāt ā¦ well, fitting.
Aoi84, if youāre still here and you somehow still have my music template that you made around a month ago, is it possible to get it done fitting for a TE-S stick? Or if you can just cook up something similar to it.

I couldnāt find a better scan with just the character for the first pic. For a background I would like a yin-yang theme that looks sexy and cool so it can match the character. Having my handle (Momotaro) and the kanji for it on there would be nice.
