Hello, I’m trying to get some new art added to a T5 stick I’m trying to mod.

I originally posted these in the SF4 Template thread (here on page 296), but since it didn’t get any response there I figured I’d come ask the artists. I’ve been working on a few pieces of stick art, and I was hoping to get some feedback or advice.
The first (2nd in the other post) is pretty much complete, but I feel it could probably use some tweaking/polish. Everyone I’ve asked have said it’s fine/ready to print, but my perfectionism is getting the better of me and I’d like some unbiased opinions.
The second (3rd in the other post) still needs a lot of work, some of which I already have plans for (replacing the logo with a vectored version, possibly from the comic rather than the game, maybe using a vectored version of Jolyne also) but more importantly it needs a background and I’m not sure what would be best to use there. I could try to create a layout with faded pages/frames from the comic but I don’t know if that would be the best fit; I’m open to suggestions.

I did this template myself but I needed some help removing the big space of stuff on the left side next to snakes face.

my photoshop skills aren’t the best so I’ve been havin some problems trying to remove it while keeping snake lookin good.
I eventually plan to take the white logos and have them etched on plexi. But dunno if I should flip that idea and do snake etched and logos on the actual art sheet underneath. Hm any opinions? anyways thanks for the help.

I’m not sure that a full BlazBlue font exists. I’ve only really seen the BlazBlue logo use it, so I’m guessing it was created as a logo treatment rather than a full on font or typeface. Even on BlazBlue.jp Noel’s name is just rendered in a slightly stylized katakana font and an even more plain latin font (and all the other character names are done the same way). If you want her name done in a style like the BlazBlue logo you’re going to have to custom make it most likely.
If you just meant the font used for names in-game (and also for scoring info, etc) it looks generic enough that someone else might be able to point you to a similar or identical font, or you could just trace what you need out of screenshots.

Well, what do you mean by removing the big space of stuff?
Do you want to make that side transparent or make it a solid color without those white ink blotches?

Basically I mean everything on the left side of snakes face I want black. That light blue mess with the ink blotches, I just wanna keep things nice and simple and black.
Also, I want to match snakes color as best I can so I can eventually have this ball top

Well came up with a somewhat new design which i think looks better. This is roughly what I want it to look like.

Im gonna have the logo and snake etched on the plexi, the only thing that will be on the art is the graphic behind the buttons. I ATTEMPTED to get rid of the space on snakes left side but failed horribly and it looks super jaggy and unlcean.

edit: know where I can find a template with button markers on it? Such as (X,0,R1,R2,/…etc). I think they would look nice etched as well.
it’s the font the characters names is written with, not the logo font.

Guidelines are as follows:
Black background.
Left side of template, picture of JUST Ryu doing a Shoryuken, SFII or Alpha Ryu. SFII preferred! Big enough so it stands out, but doesn’t have his head/fist cut off by the TE stick turbo and home button cutout. No biggie if his body is clipping the stick itself though. Ryu can be black and white, or in color, actually if I could see both versions to decide that would be great!
Bottom right corner, in italic font, “In Capcom We Trust.” With the quotes and everything! Same thing as Ryu—either in color, like Capcom blue and gold—or in white. Again seeing both versions would be great!
Splash effect behind the buttons, using all 8.
Any other background effects that keep the black background from looking too plain, but not overwhelming either!

Hello SRK. It was thanks to user Tat Guy that I was able to secure some awesome looking Wesker art for my hrap3, and now I’ve come to make what will probably be the only other request I’ll ever have to make.
The art shall eventually be mounted onto a hrap2, the template of which can be found here.
The shell of stick is going be white and I was thinking of ordering purple buttons to put in it so if whoever decides to take this on could keep this colours in mind it would be appreciated.
The character I would like is Lilith from Darkstalkers and some of my choice images are these:
(yeah, fighter’s generation)
I realize that these images may not quite work out for what I want done so if there’s a problem let me know, and I’ll search for more images. So yeah, just something simplistic, yet funky looking. Should anyone decide to fill this request it is greatly appreciated, and thanks a lot in advance.

So, I will remove this request.
