His best AA is cr.F obviously. EX dash straight/upper work good from out of cr.F range. Even j.headbutt is good is you have charge. The problem is most good players will rarely jump in on Rog. As for wakeup defense, he is weak in that area. You have to use a variety of EX dashes/TAPs sometimes HB to escape crossups. Or simply block and be ready to tech and reset the distance.
Backdash/focus backdash is good for meaties. Backdash has invc. frames so can get you out of a lot of things. But can be baited and punished like anything else.

True. I have time mon. evenings and usually thurs evenings. Fridays, Hooman and I (and whoever else is down) go to SFS or SVGL. Weekends aren’t really good for me. But if anyone wants to meet up those days just post and I can probably make it.
Completely unrelated, does anyone want to try to get a food drive or toy drive tournament going? I remember FFA or Denjin did a high point score thing. We could do something like entry fee is a can of food and the winner gets a Costco pumpkin pie. Yes, it has to be from Costco, otherwise it doesn’t count. The wednesday free play is a good thing we got going, but if we had a low key tournament like this we could really jump start a scene. And since we gather food we could pat ourselves on the back and say we gave back to the community by playing games. How often do you get to do that?

Sabin’s Seth is too good. Watching videos of him playing gives me an idea on how to handle a lot of the bad matchups I run into. Originally I thought I knew the Rog matchup and then it went completely upside down.
Rico Suave’s Abel ain’t no slouch either. I wish my Abel was as patient as his.
Won’t be at Starbase tonight. Hopefully I can get my schedule permanently changed on Wednesdays. I’ll have to look into it tonight.
Update on the sticks. They work good now. Bob found the problem and fixed it. Was having no problems finding corners and dashing, etc. I still prefer Sanwa but it’s nice to have that option of both.
Also, considering changing this to Thurs. night. It’s just a thought right now. Do all of your schedules work for Thursdays instead of Wednesdays? Or just leave it the same?
Yes. It looks like the Sanwa and Happ buttons are the same diameter so, hopefully, soon they will be Sanwa. Now gotta get Art to get working on a 2nd bigger cab with all Sanwa so we can have a proper setup for Super!

Definitely working hard this week on shaking off a lot of my bad habits with Seth. Namely getting way too aggressive/antsy when it isn’t safe and eating tons of damage.
