Sounds sick, i know we talked about doing this in the past. Just curious how the format would run in real time enviourment.
Here my thoughts on procedure:
Have the stream station for the first few hours be the Danisen League station so its easy for us to track wins and losses. Come 10-11pm or so, we run RANDOM 2v2s. The only question I have is do we count the wins in the random 2v2 or just have a set period of time to level up your character? My only concern is tracking wins off the stream station.

You dont have to have every match in the 2v2 for dan ranking, but if you have 2 players playing that are in the same dan they could agree to have the match double count for the 2v2 and ranking. And for the off stream, you can just have a witness appointed before the match (like the next 2 guys up on that station) and have them report the winner to you while you’re watching the stream station… My $0.02, hope it helps… GOOD SHIT NORTHBAY! :tup:
yea we’ve talked about ranbats at starbase for awhile now. the main issue was that we didn’t have consistent attendees. it is more consistent now so maybe it could work? i know folks come at different times and leave at early or late so that might be an issue too.
Right now I need help thinking up the ranking system though and how many points you need to acquire to reach each one. Hmmmm…

that’s a great idea. i think you should determine the ranking by number of wins. maybe 10th kyu is the start, then to 9th kyu its 3 wins, 8th its 5 wins (a brand new set of wins, not based off total wins)
If Tyram got 8 wins total with no loss, it makes him ranked 8th kyu.
However, if Tyram has 8 wins and 5 losses, he’s in 9th kyu.
