Hype Fight of the Night:

SSF2T GGPO FT10! MysteriousFighter (Ryu) vs. KEN MASTER
inspired by zaspacer’s original, awesome ST matchup videos page and leveraging all the hard work of supersf2turbo on youtube, strevivial now presents you
ever wonder if ryu vs. chun is a fair match? well it is!
or if ryu is beating guile badly? it turns out not to be the case! (at least for our limited sample size)
also fei is indeed owning chun!
supersf2turbo only started annotating his videos a few months ago, so only 5% of his entire channel is mined.
as more videos are being uploaded, the sample size should grow (currently there are many matchup with less than 5 samples)

Awesome! Good work guys. I imagine that was pretty difficult to code and setup.
Oh, thats really nice guys. Thanks for putting that up.
Will you guys keep it updated though? I hope it doesn’t end up abandoned like the st dojo.
Nicely done. Very professional too.
This is awesome! I wouldn’t jump to conclusions, though. For instance, if you restrict the Chun Li player to be Keishin, then one would believe Ryu x Chun is lopsided in Chun’s favor. If you restrict the Chun player to be Nuki or Tojo, then Chun x Fei is in Chun’s favor. There is level difference even among the cream of the crop, so evaluating match-up ratios is not a simple matter of getting lots of matches and doing simple math.
Well, if it’s Keishin vs Sasori Ryu or Hanashi Fei, then that’s a reasonable way to rate the matchups.
SSF2T GGPO Casuals - yito2k (Dhalsim) vs. Ganelon (Claw)
All I wanted to say that a loser is a loser: it does not matter if it’s 10:0 or 10:9. So Papercut is a loser: everyone saw it against MF.
Well, actually it isn’t true: I came here to post about the new Ko-hatsu event.
17th Ko-hatsu Super Street Fighter II X GMC tournament
Date: 2013-06-28
Rules: 1 player, 3 on 3 characters, Akuma banned.
13 entrants: Otochun (O.Ken, Ryu, Guile, Chun), Aniken (Ryu, Boxer, O.Ken, Ken), Kusumondo (Chun, O.Ken, Honda), Yomiaido (Ryu, O.Ryu, Dee Jay, Boxer), KKY (Claw, Boxer, Dhalsim), Gunze (Ken, O.Zangief, Zangief), Kikai (Ryu, Dictator, Guile), Tepei (Dictator, O.Guile, Guile), Matsu (Chun, Blanka, Ken), J and C, Kachu (Ryu, O.Ryu, O.Claw, Claw), Shu, and Taka (Ryu, Chun, Ken). (character list incomplete!!!)
Three characters per match - but necessarily the same three for the next match, e.g., Otochun often uses Chun, N.Ryu and O.Ken, sometimes Chun, Honda and O.Ken. You can’t pick the same character twice for your team.

lol. I’m waiting for that video to come up. I’m glad you guys enjoyed the show. that guy is pretty good. I’m stealing some of his setups.
has there been any recent footage of Nuki?
it seems hes only playing 3rd strike and sf4(unfortunately) these days…altho he did do a cvs2 set earlier this year on stream.
This reminds me of the retarded SF4 fanboy who interviewed him months ago. The fucktard asked him or implied like three times in a row why he was “absent” from fighting games, while he was trying to explain he was actually very active in both SF3 and ST. In the view of SF4 fans, if you don’t play that crap, you don’t really exist in the fighting game world.
Well, anyway, he was around for that danisen ranbat where MAO, Ito and Futachan joined, but it was in February. His rank dropped a bit, too. Still, he was able to do well against Hanashi, who was tearing Chun Lis till then. He is probably learning SF4.
