for n ken fans, definitely don’t miss part 02/04 Chojin’s ken is sick.
I wish he would become a regular
there are tons of low tier masters owning actions including blanka and fei

Chojin is highly underrated. I was watching some of his casual matches last week and he nails combos into super all the time with Ken. A lot of good matches against Kurahashi in casuals. I wish I had recorded some of those matches.

Good Job Kuroppi.

I was very impressed by the Blanka players (Shoku and Jimmy). Not just this week’s Gamespot but last week’s Gamespot too. They were both going on win streaks against techs that they “should” have been losing to. I have a tough time against Blanka sometimes so I look to those vids to understand his techs better. And Tonegawa Cammy was memorable too.

I saw Chojin do a standing fierce into super. Granted the opponent was dazed but, that is one of the hardest super combos to do in ST. I have only done it accidentally a few times. Anyone have any insight on this? Not that I will ever try it in a tournament or anything but I’d at least like to know where to start.

It should be similar to Ryu’s st.fierce x super. Now personally, I can’t pull it off, but from watching DGV and talking to him, he just does:

QCF
Return to neutral
st.fierce
QCF + punch

Requires very strict timing.

It’s the same as cr.Fierce xx super: it just gets easier to use st.Fierce instead of crouching as you input faster commands. Both do the same damage and have the same start-up, so it’s just a matter of how easy or hard - or reliable - it is to use one or the other.

I find the cr.fierce x super combo much easier to do. The timing just feels a lot more natural to me.

So many great matches, so little time
