Dunno the exact directional inputs though, lloks like it starts at up forward (7) being buffered into the punch (lp+mp), then going down from there to 6, then doing a dp or a reverse hadoken and releasing.

You can also just go to back with that Honda trick. I haven’t tested this much, but it worked when I was playing ST Revival on my DS on the train yesterday. XD
You can even do an Oicho, though the Oicho gives you enough time to charge the super anyway, so that’s useless. I don’t like Honda, so if someone finds a good use for this, good for them I guess, but I ain’t gonna spend time figuring that one out.
In that Hawk vid, I’m assuming you’re talking about the part where he does the loop vs Dic, not the DJ part at the end?
Anyway, he doesn’t do a DP at all. You hit someone with a neutral jab, hold jab and press and hold the rest of the punches, go from up, to back, to down, to forward, then release while holding downback. If they reverse, you block, if they don’t, they get thrown.

Apparently, this is a tier-weighted tournament at Nakano Royal:

Rules: you have 4 points to spend, and a limit of three character slots. Each character you choose, you spend the number of points from its tier. Thus, picking a character from the highest tier leaves you with a single character team. You can repeat characters, but since there is a 4-point limit, this is only possible if you choose characters from the two lowest tiers.

Poor hawk, he going to get murdered down there. That shit doesn’t make any sense. Hawk could murder everyone in the top tier though.
Why? It means you could play as Hawk x4 against, say, Chun. You win once, you eliminate the Chun.
I think it is ordered in terms of not only overall effectiveness, but bad match-ups. I also think this is for new characters, only.
ok, I thought that it meant that hawk could only fight against char in his own tier. I didn’t fully understand the rules.
Hawk gets 4 chances to beat Chun? How would that work if you were say…say…Guile fighting Dhalsim? This system seems a bit unusual. Despite tier list rankings, even T.Hawk owns some of the guys in the higher tiers.
