After Naka vs VIPER there’s Kurahashi vs VIPER. I wonder if Kurahashi was having some side weakness: last time I saw him in P2 and pressured by Hawk, he was using reversal Jab SRK nonstop. Either he changed his mind from the video blitzfu posted or played differently as P1.

Rare footage of Watson’s infamous O.Guile beasting through last night’s tournament. Not my footage, it’s MatrixMatt’s. I also have some footage of casual sessions that were going on, unfortunately my camera ran out of juice by the time the tournament started to get under way. I’ll post it up as soon as I figure out how to do the video edits, and the youtubes, and how to interwebs.

God damn mike is hella good with O. Guile.

Yeah. That use of st.Short is pretty nice. Makes sense, by checking the hit-boxes. Also, nice reflexes and feints.

DGV did fine vs his O.Sagat. It is a very hard match, and he reacted to much of his BS in time, such as most Knees and many Tiger dodges.

Thank you very much for recording and posting these matches. I wanna concur with djfrijoles: record the matches at Super Arcade with the crappiest cam you have, and we will still be happy.

Hopefully Matt has the rest of the “kumite” matches recorded. Mike has a pretty interesting strategy to deal with o.sagat when he’s playing o.guile.

I have some leftover footage of casual sessions, but the audio quality is complete crap, and I had to set the camera at an awkward angle . I had to put it on its mini-tripod on the CVS2 arcade cabinet to the left of ST. So it looks like you’re watching the game from the perspective of an 8 year old looking up at the monitor, lol.

I’ll put it up whenever Premiere Pro isn’t giving me a hard time. I’m going to try and start bringing my crappy camera to every casual/tourney session at Super Arcade just for you guys.

3 of the tourney matches on Saturday, my camera died before I could record the rest.

I’m also uploading about 50 minutes worth of casuals footage from that night, but it’s taking forever to export and upload.

My first time doing any sort of video-editing work, so feel free to criticize the videos. Anything from positioning of the camera, to details in the description, any and all help is appreciated. If you guys have any sort of secret to exporting/uploading videos any faster, I’d love to hear it.
