Yeah, dude was raping everybody with FABs. I was like ok here’s Honda to fuck him up, he was like sumo, fuck you! LOL Even a different Honda player did not have a chance. Of course it had to be a solid Ryu player that stopped his rampage, fuck yeah. heh
Not sure if you guys noticed, but at 15:05 the guy laughs out loud at Choshu eating an empty jump into FAB and at 17:30, against Guchi, he wins by grabbing him out of an active Shoryuken! Also, at 18:58, he grabs Hiroyan after a cross-up with a SPD that activates on the wrong direction.
Kurahashi is on a different level, Toutanki would have trouble beating him.
Kurahashi is my favorite Ryu player at the moment. Him and Sasori are so awesome, when they are in the zone they are unstoppable. I also like the O.Ken player PECO, that dude has some really innovative tactics and is very fun to watch. I wish there were more active Ken players though.

Cool beans.
Also, tell them to help you out with spelling next time as well.

Perfectly executed Typhoon option select DP against Blanka’s Back Hop in the corner @ 11:40. There’s no way out for Blanka except for maybe reversal throw.
I’m pretty sure if blanka would have balled hawks cr forward, he would have traded and flipped out.
Wouldn’t that put him right back in the loop again? I’m thinking if he does reversal H Roll right after blocking the cr Forward, he might get through the DP without getting hit, but that’s a long shot. That Hawk player looks like he’s got that OS down pat.
Here are some high level matches that I’ve had in the past week with Shun Joker(Ryu) and Hydlide(Sim) from Japan.

Awesome vids, thanks for that Afro. That Shun Joker is a very good Ryu player.
It’s interesting to see what happened in the last match of the 2nd vid, Balrog did a Super that was all blocked except fot the last hit, where Ryu did a reversal attack but it wasn’t a Shoryuken, and he got hit. Apparently Joker was trying to reversal Shoryu during Balrog’s Super. And it’s apparent during other Supers too, if you look carefully he’s not just crouch blocking during the Super, but alternating between standing and crouching: he’s always trying to get a reversal Shoryu out, regardless of whether Balrog’s Super lags or not. And I see this in other Japanese vids too.
I always thought it was dependent on range, but maybe Balrog’s Super can lag at any moment, on any hit.
Billiant bait here.

dat crazy, he took the hit so he could super him.
Right, but Ryu didn’t need to toss that extra fireball and eat the super. Still that’s a crazy technique, that caught him off guard.
reversal stomp/devils revers bait so he would think he lost his charge hence why the extra fb

In case people don’t know whats going on, I’ll include the following explanation.
“Be safely stacked and overlapped the end of the leg early in the current. Approximate timing, timing of the combo → K is large metatarsal. Turn, and lay a good balanced adhesion and low K superimposed safety. When aiming for success after passive and is easy to throw Piyori Liu.”
I hope that helped to clear things up.

Pretty damn clever to absorb that hit. But Ryu didn’t need to throw out that fireball regardless of whether or not it hit or if he just blocked it.
lol, how do you come up with this shit?
