Same reason people use the Black Ryu, it’s just a really cool, clean looking color. Personally, I think White Guile is underrated, I love that color.
It depends on the matches. I normally skip the boring matches, but they’re so few and far between, that I usually end up watching the entire set. I tend to pay extra attention to the matches of Suzuki, Chika8doors, Peco, Kurahashi, Sasori, Gucchi, anybody who just stands out amongst the crowd.
