The V-Trigger system wouldn’t be so bad if you actually had to earn it and it didn’t build up every single round. Capcom can’t seem to make a game these days where you don’t get rewarded for getting your ass kicked.

I wonder what SFV would play like if Ves and LoyalSol balanced the game.

Remove Crush Counters from the game entirely.

It would just be CvS2 redone graphically with the Unreal engine.

On second thought, if they were designing the game, it would just send you to the original CvS2.

Veserius’ SF would probably be pretty fun.

LoyalSol’s SF would probably be everything boring about SFIV and then more boring stuff on top of that. No special moves that move the opponent forward or backwards in any direction because randomly escaping a position is bad. Oh and everyone would have healing so if you took a ridiculous combo off some stupid shit, you can just get your health back and get back the reward you should have gotten for playing honest.

The game will be able to generally detect if any bullshit happens to you and when it does, your healing meter will go to full.

Thing is though, what kotal did in that video is very real match practical.

But nobody really complains about blood god cause Kotal sucks :frowning:

It’s a very intuitive design that feels “fair”. You block something and are rewarded with a punish. For some reason things that look and feel like they should be massively punishable can sometimes be +3 or whatever but no one complains.

Also, if you haven’t been checking out BornFree’s interviews on youtube I think they are worth giving a listen to. Bonchan’s interview in particular was epic.
